摘要: A measurement system comprising one or more semiconductor diodes configured to penetrate tissue comprising skin. The detection system comprising a camera, which may also include a direct or indirect time-of-flight sensor. The detection system synchronized to the pulsing of the semiconductor diodes, and the camera further coupled to a processor. The detection system non-invasively measuring blood within the skin, measuring hemoglobin absorption between 700 to 1300 nm, and the processor deriving physiological parameters and comparing properties between different spatial locations and variation over time. The semiconductor diodes may comprise vertical cavity surface emitting lasers, and the detection system may comprise single photon avalanche photodiodes. The measurement system may be used to observe eye parameters and differential blood flow. The system may be used with photo-bio-modulation therapy, or it may be used in advanced driver monitoring systems for multiple functions including head pose, eye tracking, facial authentication, and smart restraint control systems.

摘要: An automated age detection system employing a patient monitoring lead assembly and a patent monitoring device. In operation, the patient monitoring lead assembly conducts electrical activity of a heart of a patient to the patient monitoring device. In response thereto, the patient monitoring device classifying the patient as an adult patient or a pediatric patient as a function of electrocardiogram feature(s) derived from electrocardiogram measurement(s) of the electrical heart activity. The patient monitoring device may further estimate the age as a function of electrocardiogram feature(s). The classification facilitates an appropriate application of an adult analysis or a pediatric analysis of the electrical heart activity.

摘要: An alert is used to inform a user that their blood glucose level has dropped below a threshold (e.g., the user is hypoglycemic) or has increased above a threshold (e.g., the user is hyperglycemic). There is a hierarchy of alerts from lowest priority to highest priority. The alert is communicated by a user device (e.g., a mobile device), which is, for example, a smartphone, smart watch, home automation device, or the like. The alert is modified in order to increase the likelihood that the user receives or acknowledges the alert within a minimal amount of time. An intensity level (e.g., a volume) of an alert is modified based on, for example, whether the user has acknowledged a previous alert. A modality or a sensory channel of an alert is changed if an initial alert does fails to elicit a response from the user.

摘要: A tissue profile wellness monitor measures a physiological parameter, generates a tissue profile, defines limits and indicates when the tissue profile exceeds the defined limits. The physiological parameter is responsive to multiple wavelengths of optical radiation after attenuation by constituents of pulsatile blood flowing within a tissue site. The tissue profile is responsive to the physiological parameter. The limits are defined for at least a portion of the tissue profile.

摘要: An emergency cardiac and electrocardiogram (ECG) electrode placement device with artificial intelligence is disclosed herein. The emergency cardiac and electrocardiogram (ECG) electrode placement device incorporates electrical conducting materials and elastic material into a pad that is applied to a chest wall of a patient, which places multiple electrodes in the appropriate anatomic locations on the patient to quickly obtain an ECG in a pre-hospital setting. The AI program continuously runs EKGs to continuously monitor a patient.

摘要: An electronic device for providing biometric information is provided. The electronic device includes a sensor module, a memory, and a processor electrically connected to the sensor module and the memory. The processor obtains a biometric signal from the sensor module at a predetermined time interval, determines whether a user is in a first state on the basis of the obtained biometric signal, in case the user is in a first state, obtains a representative value for a respective of the at least one biometric signal, defines the obtained representative value for the respective of the at least one biometric signal as a candidate reference value for a corresponding biometric signal, determines a candidate reference value satisfying a predetermined condition as a first reference value for the corresponding biometric signal, and updates a second reference value previously configured for the corresponding biometric signal on the basis of the first reference value.

摘要: A method of administering insulin includes receiving scheduled glucose time intervals and obtaining glucose data of a patient that includes glucose measurements, glucose times, and insulin dosages previously administered by the patient. The method also includes applying a set of filters to identify which of the glucose measurements associated with at least one of the scheduled time intervals are usable and which of the glucose measurements associated with the at least one scheduled time interval are unusable. The method also includes aggregating the glucose measurements associated with the at least one scheduled time interval identified as usable to determine a representative aggregate glucose measurement and determining a next recommended insulin dosage for the patient based on the representative aggregate glucose measurement and the insulin dosages previously administered by the patient.

摘要: An optical system operating in the near or short-wave infrared wavelength range identifies an object based on water absorption. The system comprises a light source with modulated light emitting diodes operating at wavelengths near 1090 and 1440 nanometers, corresponding to lower and higher water absorption. The system further comprises one or more wavelength selective filters and a housing that is further coupled to an electrical circuit and a processor. The detection system comprises photodetectors that are synchronized to the light source, and the detection system receives at least a portion of light reflected from the object. The system is configured to identify the object by comparing the reflected light at the first and second wavelength to generate an output value, and then comparing the output value to a threshold. The optical system may be further coupled to a wearable device or a remote sensing system with a time-of-flight sensor.
