摘要: A multiply thin paper sheet having a press-to-bond structure is disclosed, including a first thin paper layer having a first stacking surface and at least one second thin paper layer having a second stacking surface. The first and second stacking surfaces are partially overlapped with each other to define a stacking zone provided between the first thin paper layer and the second thin paper layer. After the stacking zone is subjected to a rolling operation by a rolling pressure, a plurality of first pressed sections are formed on the first thin paper layer, having a predetermined height extended according to a given direction, and a plurality of second pressed sections are formed on the second thin paper layer according to the given direction and respectively corresponding to the first pressed sections of the first thin paper layer. At least one portion of each first pressed section and the respective corresponding second pressed section are bonded and formed as a pressed and bonded site, such that the first thin paper layer and second thin paper layer can be pressed, bonded and patterned simultaneously.

摘要: A composite material elongate structural member, such as a spar or stringer, for use in an aerospace structure, comprises a web having an angled portion, for example in the form of a chamfer, curved surface or the like, which joins a foot of the member to the rest of the web. A first surface on the foot is shaped to abut a structure to be stiffened. The foot also has a second surface opposite the first surface. The web has a third surface and a fourth surface at the same layer in the composite material as the first and third surfaces, respectively. On/in the interposed portion there is a fifth surface which joins the first and third surfaces. The geometry of the member may vary along its length (L) so that with increasing distance, the first surface is displaced towards the second surface as the width of the fifth surface decreases. The risk of causing, during fabrication of the elongate member, undesirable creasing, stressing or stretching of composite material layers in a region in which the geometry of the member varies may be reduced by means of such an arrangement.

摘要: A method for coating a surface of an aircraft is provided. The method comprises the steps of cutting to size at least one film section from a shrinkable film material in such a manner that the film section relative to a surface section of the aircraft, which surface section is to be coated with the film section, comprises an overmeasure that is determined by the degree of shrinkage of the film material; applying the film section and a functional coating to the surface section so that the functional coating is arranged between the surface section and the film section; and shrinking the film section by heating it to a temperature that corresponds at least to the shrinkage temperature of the film section and at least to the flow temperature of the functional coating until the contours of the film section largely conform to the contours of the surface section.

摘要: A method of forming a shaped glass article includes placing a glass sheet on a mold such that a first glass area of the glass sheet corresponds to a first mold surface area of the mold and a second glass area of the glass sheet corresponds to a second mold surface area of the mold. The first glass area and the second glass area are heated such that the viscosity of the second glass area is 8 poise or more lower than the viscosity of the first glass area. A force is applied to the glass sheet to conform the glass sheet to the mold surface. During the heating of the second glass area, the first mold surface area is locally cooled to induce a thermal gradient on the mold.
