Abstract: A bipolar battery that can achieve both a hermetic seal and mechanical strength and increases energy density is described. The bipolar lead acid battery includes an outer wall integrally projected along a peripheral edge on a facing surface of one frame-plate out of a pair of the frame-plates facing each other and a joining wall integrally projected on a facing surface of the other frame-plate out of the pair of the frame-plates facing each other. The joining wall is positioned inwardly from the outer wall of the one frame-plate and surrounds a peripheral edge of a cell member. The joining wall is joined to the facing surface of the one frame-plate by a joining material.

Abstract: This resin trough body has an approximately U-shape cross-sectional shape that includes a bottom section and side sections on the two sides. Vertical reinforcement ribs are formed at a prescribed interval on the outer surface of both side sections of a trough body of a prescribed length. Further, near the front and back ends of the trough body, horizontal ribs are formed so as to link two vertical ribs. An accommodation space for accommodating a grating lid is formed by a pair of L-shape members being fixed with bolts to a fixing jig that has been attached to the horizontal ribs. The grating lid is accommodated in said accommodation space, and the grating lid is fixed to a bolt fixing section, which is a mounting hole formed in the horizontal plane of the L-shape members.

The catalyst structure for synthesis gas production has passages in communication with each other within the carrier. The first catalyst particles are present at least in the passages of the carrier; and the second catalyst particles are present at least either inside the carrier or on the outer surface of the carrier.

Abstract: Provided is a light diffusion device capable of irradiating laser light onto a plurality of locations in a human body in a state in which a distal end portion of an optical transmission cable is placed in the human body. The light diffusion device includes an optical transmission cable including a plurality of cores, and a light refracting portion configured to refract the light emitted from each of the plurality of cores so that irradiation directions thereof are different from each other. With such a configuration, it is possible to irradiate the laser light in a plurality of directions when the distal end of the optical transmission cable is placed in the human body. Therefore, it is possible to change the location where the laser light is irradiated without extracting or re-inserting the optical transmission cable from or into the human body, thereby shortening the time required for photoimmunotherapy.

Abstract: A terminal-equipped electric wire includes a terminal and a coated conductive wire, which are electrically connected to each other. The coated conductive wire includes a tension member disposed in an approximate center of a cross section, and a conductive wire including a plurality of conductors disposed on an outer periphery of the tension member. The tension member includes a plurality of strands. The conductive wire is crimped at the conductive wire crimp part from the entire circumference of the circumferential direction of the conductive wire. Preferably, a tensile strength of the tension member is greater than that of the conductive wire.
