摘要: An access point manages a first wireless local area network (WLAN) in a 6 GHz radio frequency (RF) band and ii) a second WLAN operating in another RF band. The access point generates a physical layer (PHY) data unit to include a management frame having i) first information indicating first network parameters of the first WLAN, and ii) second information indicating second network parameters of the second WLAN. The AP transmits the PHY data unit in the other RF band to provide, to any client stations that are operating in the other RF band and that are also capable of operating in the 6 GHz band: the first information indicating the first network parameters of the first WLAN operating in the 6 GHz RF band to assist the any client stations that are operating in the other RF band with joining the first WLAN operating in the 6 GHz RF band.

According to an embodiment, the present invention provides a termination circuit that includes an inductor network. The inductor network is coupled to a termination resistor and a capacitor network, which includes a first capacitor and a second capacitor. The termination resistor, the first capacitor, and the second capacitor are adjustable, and they affect attenuation of the termination circuit. There are other embodiments as well.

摘要: A first communication device determines whether a specific wireless local area network (WLAN) communication link, among a plurality of WLAN communication links corresponding to respective frequency segments, has been negotiated with a second communication device for a first traffic stream. In response to determining that the specific WLAN communication link has been negotiated for the first traffic stream, the first communication device transmits packets in the first traffic stream only via the specific WLAN communication link. In response to determining that no WLAN communication link has been negotiated with the second communication device for the first traffic stream, the first communication device transmits packets in the first traffic stream via multiple WLAN communication links corresponding to different frequency segments.

摘要: In a vehicular communication network, a communication device generates a physical layer (PHY) preamble of a PHY protocol data unit (PPDU) for transmission in the vehicular communication network. The communication device generates a plurality of PHY data segments of the PPDU, and one or more PHY midambles, each PHY midamble to be transmitted between a respective pair of adjacent PHY data segments, and each PHY midamble including one or more training signal fields. Generating the one or more PHY midambles includes, when the PPDU is to be transmitted according to an extended range (ER) mode, generating each training signal field to include i) a first portion based on a very high throughput long training field (VHT-LTF) defined by the IEEE 802.11ac Standard and ii) a second portion based on the VHT-LTF defined by the IEEE 802.11ac Standard; and transmitting, by the communication device, the PPDU in the vehicular communication network.

摘要: A data transmission device includes a de-interleaver configured to receive, from a host device at a first data rate, a data stream including encoded data, de-interleave the data stream into a plurality of forward error correction (FEC) data streams, and output the plurality of FEC data streams at a second data rate less than the first data rate. Each of a plurality of interleavers is configured to interleave a respective one of the plurality of FEC data streams into an intermediate data stream including first data blocks and second data blocks. An encoder module configured to generate, for each of the intermediate data streams, FEC blocks including a first parity section and a first data section, the first parity section including a first parity bit corresponding to the first data blocks and a second parity bit corresponding to the second data blocks, and the first data section including the first data blocks and the second data blocks, and output the FEC blocks at the second data rate.

摘要: A memory request, including an address, is accessed. The memory request also specifies a type of an operation (e.g., a read or write) associated with an instance (e.g., a block) of data. A group of caches is selected using a bit or bits in the address. A first hash of the address is performed to select a cache in the group. A second hash of the address is performed to select a set of cache lines in the cache. Unless the operation results in a cache miss, the memory request is processed at the selected cache. When there is a cache miss, a third hash of the address is performed to select a memory controller, and a fourth hash of the address is performed to select a bank group and a bank in memory.

摘要: Disclosed is a processing unit for computing a convolution of an activations matrix (e.g., a N×N activations matrix) and a weights kernel (e.g., a M×M weights kernel). The processing unit specifically employs an array of processing elements and a hardware-implemented spiral algorithm to compute the convolution. Due to this spiral algorithm, the need for a discrete data setup logic block is avoided, activation values from the activations matrix can be pre-loaded into processing elements only one time so that the need to repeatedly access the activations matrix is avoided, and the computation can be completed in a relatively low number of clock cycles, which is independent of the number of activation values in the activation matrix and which is equal to the number of weight values in a weights kernel. Also disclosed is an associated processing method.

摘要: A method for forming a silicon photonics interposer having through-silicon vias (TSVs). The method includes forming vias in a front side of a silicon substrate and defining primary structures for forming optical devices in the front side. Additionally, the method includes bonding a first handle wafer to the front side and thinning down the silicon substrate from the back side and forming bumps at the back side to couple with a conductive material in the vias. Furthermore, the method includes bonding a second handle wafer to the back side and debonding the first handle wafer from the front side to form secondary structures based on the primary structures. Moreover, the method includes forming pads at the front side to couple with the bumps at the back side before completing final structures based on the secondary structures and debonding the second handle wafer from the back side.

摘要: Described herein are systems and methods for cache replacement mechanisms for speculative execution. For example, some systems include, a buffer comprising entries that are each configured to store a cache line of data and a tag that includes an indication of a status of the cache line stored in the entry, in an integrated circuit that is configured to: responsive to a cache miss caused by a load instruction that is speculatively executed by a processor pipeline, load a cache line of data corresponding to the cache miss into a first entry of the buffer and update the tag of the first entry to indicate the status is speculative; responsive to the load instruction being retired by the processor pipeline, update the tag to indicate the status is validated; and, responsive to the load instruction being flushed from the processor pipeline, update the tag to indicate the status is cancelled.
