    摘要: A pneumatic tire comprises a carcass extending between the bead portions and a band disposed radially outside the carcass in a tread portion and made of at least one cord laid at an angle of not more than 5 degrees with respect to the tire equator, and the band cord is made of steel filaments twisted together so as to have a variable elasticity modulus which has a transitional point from under 1000 kgf/sq.mm to over 1000 kgf/sq.mm at an elongation percentage in a range of from 1% to 5%. Preferably, the average elasticity modulus ELn of the cord from zero elongation to the transitional point is in a range of from 500 to 750 kgf/sq.mm, and the average elasticity modulus EHn of the cord from the transitional point to a breaking point of the cord is in a range of from 1200 to 3000 kgf/sq.mm.

    摘要: When a rotor of a brushless motor 1 is at rest, excitation is performed three times such that excitation phase is switched each time an excitation is performed thereby to ensure that the rotor rotates. When the rotor has stopped after the third excitation, a commutation reference point is set at the rest position. A position detector outputs pulses in response to movement of an object driven by the brushless motor. The pulses output from the position detector are monitored and commutation is controlled on the basis of the number of pulses as counted starting from the commutation reference point. For example, the number of pulses output during a period starting from the commutation reference point and ending at a point of time at which commutation should be performed is measured as a predetermined number in advance. When the counted number of pulses with respect to the commutation reference point becomes equal to the above predetermined number, it is determined that a commutation timing has reached, and commutation is performed.

    摘要: A studless tire contains tread portion made of vulcanized rubber, compounded from 100 parts by weight of rubber and 2 to 30 parts by weight of short fibers, and the tread portion has a ground connecting region with sipes, formed by pressing thin plates onto the tread rubber during vulcanizing, whereby the thin plates orient the short fibers in a radial direction. Preferably, the short fibers have a diameter of not more than 30 &mgr;m and a length of from 0.3 to 20 nm, and the thickness of the thin plates or the width of the sipes ranges from 0.2 to 0.5 mm with spacings being sipes less than 10 mm. The short fibers are circumferentially oriented before pressing the thin plates, and the total length in mm of axial component of all sipes ranges from 0.05 to 0.15 times the area in mm2 of ground contacting region.

    摘要: The present invention is a radio transmitter/receiver in which a receiving local oscillation means composed of a PLL including a dividing circuit is free from an erroneous operation due to an invasion of a transmitting signal and a suppression of power consumed is achieved. A frequency mixing circuit 3 receives a local oscillation signal S3 from a receiving local oscillation means 5 and converts a receiving signal S1 into an intermediate frequency signal. A transmitting section 6 output a transmitting signal S4 during talking. A transmitting detection circuit 7 detects the transmitting signal S4 to output a transmitting detection signal S5. An amplifying circuit 51 of receiving local oscillation means 5 is supplied with a current from a current source circuit 52 and amplifies the local oscillation signal S3. The current source circuit 52 increases the supply current upon the receipt of the transmitting detection signal S5 and increases the gain of the amplifying circuit 51. A rejection filter 86 is constituted such that the rejection filter 86 exhibits a low impedance for the frequency of the transmitting signal. A switch 53 is rendered to be in the ON state upon the receipt of the transmitting detection signal S5 so that the rejection filter 86 function to attenuate the transmitting signal which interferes into the dividing circuit.

    摘要: In a radio transmitter responsive to an input signal for transmitting an output signal through a coupling circuit and an antenna with a radio channel assigned to the output signal, a power level of the output signal is kept constant with reference to a frequency characteristic of the antenna and/or the coupling circuit. The output signal is produced from an amplifier section controlled by a reference voltage which is supplied from a reference voltage generator (27) controlled by a reference voltage controller (23). The reference voltage controller produces a reference voltage control signal which is based on the frequency characteristic and which is used for adjusting the reference voltage. In addition, the reference voltage control signal may be produced with reference to a temperature characteristic of a detector for detecting the output signal.
