    摘要: An electrically operated steering apparatus for use on a motor vehicle has a cylindrical housing, an axially movable rack shaft disposed in the housing for steering steerable wheels coupled to the rack shaft, and an electric motor disposed in the cylindrical housing around the axially movable shaft for moving the axially movable shaft. A power supply for supplying electric energy to the electric motor is disposed outside of the cylindrical housing. A motor control circuit for generating a motor control signal based on a detected steering torque is disposed in the cylindrical housing. A motor driver circuit is disposed in the cylindrical housing for energizing the electric motor with the electric energy supplied from the power supply based on the motor control signal. An insert-molded board is disposed in the housing and electrically interconnecting the electric motor, the motor control circuit, and the motor driver circuit. The insert-molded board comprises electric conductors and a body of synthetic resin molded around the electric conductors.

    摘要: A connector for receiving a memory card employs a power supply switching mechanism, a memory card ejecting mechanism and a memory card lock mechanism. A connector body on which a plurality of connecting terminals to be connected with the memory card is mounted has a one piece structure with a pair of guide arms for slidably guiding the memory card. One of the guide arms is formed with a groove, where power supply terminal electrodes and a switching member are attached. An actuating member with a locking member and an actuator with an ejector member are also attached to the connector body. Operation of the actuating member is accompanied with the movements of the locking member, the switching member and the actuator. Movement of the locking member causes the memory card to lock, the switching member switches on the power supply, and the actuator serves to eject a card. Thus, the power supply switching mechanism, the memory card ejecting mechanism and the memory card lock mechanism are linked to one another so as to perform their functions in accordance with the operation of the actuating member. The connector increases efficiency in assembling electronic appliances and enables an easy operation to load and unload the memory card.

Further, a method of the present invention, for producing an aromatic iodine compound, includes the step of causing an iodizing agent, and an aromatic compound whose nucleus has one or more substituent groups and two or more hydrogen atoms, to react with each other under the presence of a certain ether compound. This realizes such a method of producing an aromatic iodine compound that position selectivity in iodizing reaction of an aromatic compound is improved.

When a user operation is performed on the display screen of the electronic paper, the user operation position with respect to the display screen of the electronic paper is detected by the operation position detecting unit of the paper mounting unit. The data corresponding to the detected user operation position with respect to the display screen of the electronic paper is transmitted to the electronic paper via mutual communication units. The nonvolatile display unit of the electronic paper displays the data. This enables the data corresponding to the user operation on the electronic paper to be displayed on the nonvolatile display unit.
