    摘要: More accurate and robust battery state estimation (BSE) techniques for a battery system of an electrified vehicle include estimating a current bias or offset generated by a current sensor and then adjusting the measured current to compensate for the estimated current bias. The techniques obtain nominal parameters for a battery model of the battery system based on a measured temperature and an estimated open circuit voltage (OCV). The techniques use these nominal parameters and the corrected measured current to estimate the OCV, a capacity, and an impedance of the battery system. The techniques utilize the OCV to estimate a state of charge (SOC) of the battery system. The techniques also estimate a state of health (SOH) of the battery system based on its estimated capacity and impedance. The techniques then control the electrified vehicle based on the SOC and/or the SOH.

    摘要: A system and method for estimating parameters of a rechargeable energy storage system during a plug-in charge mode include reading a first measured voltage and a measured current from the rechargeable energy storage system while charging the rechargeable energy storage system during a plug-in charge mode, interrupting the charge to stop current flow to the rechargeable energy storage system for a predetermined period of time, reading a second measured voltage during the charge interrupt, calculating a resistance based on the first measured voltage, the second measured voltage and the measured current, calculating an open circuit voltage of the rechargeable energy storage system based on the resistance, the second measured voltage, the measured current and determining the state-of-charge for the rechargeable energy storage system using the open circuit voltage.

    摘要: Methods and systems for dynamically estimating the core temperature of at least one cell in a battery. In one aspect, the method includes using a combination of estimations including one based on ohmic resistance and another based on a function of thermal energy transfer through the battery. A weighting factor may be used for each of the estimations as a way to calculating a core temperature. The estimation based on ohmic resistance may be made determined independently of a measured surface temperature of the battery or any of the cells in the battery.
