摘要： To improve the stability and robustness of a rectifier and to protect it against atmospheric influences, two semiconductor diodes in the shape of small plates or discs are disposed to hold between them a center electrode. A wire-like lead electrode is held in contact with the remaining side of one diode and the second lead electrode is cup-shaped and its walls surround the diode stack. An inwardly extending lip of the cup-shaped electrode supports a spring which exerts pressure on the enlarged tip of the first lead electrode, thus clamping the entire stack in contact. A cover plate seals the opening of the cup and a resinous mass may be applied over the cover plate to provide a hermetic seal.

摘要： A preparation for shrinkproofing wool composed of:(a) 1 to 50 weight percent of organopolysiloxanes, which are built up from(a.sub.1) 90 to 99.8 mole percent of units of formula R.sub.2.sup.1 SiO, and(a.sub.2) 0.2 to 10 mole percent of units of the formula R.sup.2 SiO.sub.1.5 in whichR.sup.1 and R.sup.2 consist of 0.1 to 10 mole percent of polyoxyalkylene residues and, on the other hand, of 0.03 to 3 mole percent of mercaptoalkyl or mercaptoaryl residues, and/or 0.06 to 6 mole percent of aminoalkyl residues and/or 0.1 to 10 mole percent of anionic groups, which are linked to silicon atoms through carbon atoms,the remaining portion of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 groups being methyl groups, up to 10 mole percent of which however may be replaced by alkyl residues of longer chain length, by aryl residues or by hydrogen atoms, while at the same time up to 5 mole percent of the oxygen atoms, which are liked to silicon, may in each case be replaced by two lower alkoxy or hydroxy groups, and(b) 50 to 99 weight percent of water and/or organic solvents. Wool, treated with this preparation, retains its resistance to shrinking even after repeated launderings. The hand of the wool and the hand of knitted and woven fabrics produced from the wool is not affected.

The melting of the nickel coating is insured by producing locally high temperatures and pressures, due to the special configuration of the surface of the workpiece. 摘要： A film processor of the type which includes a sheet transport having a finger pushing the rear edge of the film sheet while edge guides guide the edges of the film along a path that leads down into each of a series of tanks and up out of each tank in a loop over to the next tank, including a loop guide at the end of each loop for guiding the middle of the film sheet around the loop. The loop guide includes a pair of guide plates lying near the center of the film path on either side of a finger-moving belt, each plate having a concave surface extending along the radially outside portion of a loop to guide the leading edge of a film sheet which tends to bow outwardly as the sheet moves along a curve.

摘要： A system for enabling X-ray films, of the type primarily used in the dental and medical fields, to be handled in daylight for exposure to X-rays. The system utilizes identical film sheets emulsion coated on one or both faces, each sheet having a notch, displaced from the sheet center line, formed in one edge thereof. A stack of sheets is packed in an opaque envelope with the sheets being alternated so that all of the notches lie along a common stack edge arranged in two parallel rows, the notches in adjacent sheets lying in different rows. The system includes a light tight dispenser which receives the envelope and is capable of being operated to strip the envelope from the film sheet stack. The dispenser includes a pair of rotatable selector cams, each aligned with a different row of notches. A spring mounted back-up plate urges the film sheet stack against the selector cams with the two selector cams respectively bearing against notched and unnotched portions of the top sheet. Means are provided for alternately rotating the two cams so as to successively release the top sheet from the stack into a cassette removably engaged with the dispenser. The cassette includes parallel screens normally spring urged together in light tight relationship when disengaged from the dispenser. Engagement of the cassette with the dispenser in light tight relationship urges the screen plates apart to enable the released film sheet to fall therebetween. The cassette in turn operatively cooperates with a processor to enable the film sheet therein to be transferred to the processor.
