Abstract: The mobile water treatment cartridge is connectable into a water treatment circuit and includes fluid connectors and power and data connection ports. The cartridge includes an outer shell having an upper opening that can be hermetically sealed by a lid, and an inner shell having an opening at the top and delimiting an internal volume of the cartridge, in which all the technical equipment for operation of the cartridge is placed. The inner shell is secured to at least one structure that can be inserted into the interior volume through the opening. There is a device for handling the cartridge secured to the outer shell and a device for rendering the cartridge mobile.

Abstract: The invention relates to systems, apparatus and methods for the removal of cesium and other radionuclides from liquid waste contained in a high level waste tank. The invention includes transporting a stream of the liquid waste from the high level waste tank to one or more ion-exchange column assemblies to remove the cesium therefrom using a sorbent, such as, crystalline silico-titanate. The ion-exchange column assemblies include an ion-exchange column and an integrated shield. The column is concentrically positioned within the shield and an air gap is present between the column and the shield to provide passive cooling.

Abstract: Electrolytic cartridges for, systems for, and methods of electrolyzing a brine solution of water and an alkali salt to produce acidic electrolyzed water and alkaline electrolyzed water are provided. The system includes an internal chamber for receiving the brine solution and at least two electrolytic cartridges immersed in a brine bath. Each electrolytic cartridge includes an electrode, an ion selective membrane disposed on a side of the electrode so as to define a space adjacent to at least a portion of the electrode, a permeable insert covering the ion selective membrane on a side opposite the space, and a bonding plate disposed on the permeable insert on a side opposite the side facing the ion selective membrane. The methods recycle at least a portion of alkaline electrolyzed water into the feed of a cartridge having a positively charged electrode.

The mobile station may include one or more mobile units configured to receive a feed of wastewater. The one or more mobile units may include: a mobile ozonation unit configured to treat the received feed of wastewater with ozone gas to breakdown impurities in the wastewater, a pH control unit may be configured to raise pH of the treated wastewater, a mobile electrocoagulation unit configured to separate solids and metals from the treated wastewater, a mobile flocculation unit configured to cause suspended particles to form flocs and to remove the flocs from the received treated water.

Abstract: Devices and methods are provided for in-line water treatment using strong magnetic fields to influence corrosion, separate toxins, suppress bacteria and bio-fouling, as well as inhibit or greatly reduce mineral scaling due to fluid flow in or around equipment components. For example, a device is provided for applying a magnetic field to a portion of tubing through which a fluid flow, such as water, is conveyed. The device includes a number of links joined together via detachable pivoting connections, such that links may be removed and/or links may be added, thereby allowing a diameter of the device to be adjusted so as to accommodate larger or smaller piping, as necessary, for retrofitting applications. The use of magnetic treatment of fluids such as water may allow extended cycles of operation with higher concentration of mineral salts without the use of chemical scaling suppressants.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a combination unit and method of multiple membrane shells. The combination unit of multiple membrane shells is formed by bundling multiple membrane shells in parallel, wherein the raw water port and the concentrated water port of each of the membrane shells are respectively connected and sealed with the raw water port and the concentrated water port of the adjacent membrane shells to form the shared raw water port and the shared concentrated water port which are respectively connected with the raw water pipeline and the concentrated water pipeline. Since each of the combination units of multiple membrane shells is provided with the shared raw water port and the shared concentrated water port, it is adequate to finish the assembly of the shared raw water port with the pipeline and the assembly of the shared concentrated water port with the pipeline in the engineering installation. The combination unit of multiple membrane shells can be placed horizontally or vertically. By adopting the technology of the combination unit of multiple membrane shells, there does not need a large number of clamps, the number of sealed points is decreased, the engineering cost is reduced, the hidden seepage danger is lowered, the engineering installation workload is lessened, the occupied area of the apparatus is saved, and the maintenance and the service are convenient.
