Abstract:
In an electronic imaging apparatus, image information of an image signal photoelectrically converted from an image incident is stored in image information storing means in a format dependent upon a type of the applied storage device. Provided therein are communication means for transmitting and/or receiving image information generated in this apparatus or the other equivalent apparatuses while an operation mode of the apparatus is set for communication and switch means for causing the communication means to start a communication mode operation.
Abstract:
A data recorder of the present invention comprises a recording unit, a condition determining unit, and an optimizing unit. This condition determining unit performs a recording test or information acquisition on a recording medium, and determines from the result the right condition for performing a recording operation. The optimizing unit optimizes the recording operation according to this right condition. The recording unit performs the recording condition optimized by the optimizing unit, thereby recording data on the removable recording medium.
Abstract:
An image capturing apparatus that is capable of loading a plurality of memory media that includes a plurality of medium wearable units where a respective memory medium is loaded detachably; a medium selector for selecting from said plurality of medium wearable units a write-execution medium wearable unit that should execute writing of data; and a selection controller for controlling said medium selector, said selection controller having an automatic selection controller for selecting said write-execution medium wearable unit according to a predetermined automatic selection basis that reflects a user's medium selection trait.
Abstract:
In a digital still camera which contains an internal RAM (a volatile internal memory device) and to/from which an external RAM (a nonvolatile external memory device) is attachable/detachable, the internal RAM has a work area for an image processing process and a surplus area for storing image data photographed by the digital still camera. An image data storage device receives the image data from a photographing processing section. When the external RAM is attached to the digital still camera, an image data managing unit 31 stores the image data in the external RAM. When the external RAM is detached from the digital still camera, the image data managing unit 31 stores the image data in the surplus area of the internal RAM.
Abstract:
This invention relates to an electronic still camera to image a desired object through an imaging device, and provides a continuous-shot means with large-capacity recording. When image data RAW retrieved through predetermined imaging means 20 is data processed to record on a recording medium 10, the buffer memory 40 with high speed is provided which stores image data RAW temporarily.
Abstract:
A disclosed managing apparatus and image forming apparatus management system ensure confidentiality of information in an image forming apparatus while usability is maintained. An image forming apparatus acquires IC card identifying information with an IC card reader. A management server acquires a user ID associated with the acquired IC card identifying information and use limit information concerning use of the image forming apparatus. A process is performed in the image forming apparatus in accordance with the use limit information.
Abstract:
A technique processes captured data on a device, wherein selected captured data of a given quality resolution is transferred via a communication link to a separate storage location for future availability. A storage protocol may include different storage organization categories. A possible aspect includes an identifier record to enable future accessibility to selected captured data by one or more authorized parties or approved devices or authorized recipients.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus that performs filtering by reading out an image from an external storage unit, the image being divided into a plurality of banks by a first interleave method according to a transfer length when the image is read out from the external storage unit is provided. The apparatus comprising: a plurality of local memories; and a control unit configured to divide, into a plurality of pixel fragments, a pixel of a bank which includes at least one of a plurality of pixels needed for the filtering by a second interleave method according to the transfer length and store each of the pixel fragments obtained as a result of division in one of the plurality of local memories in accordance with the transfer length.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes a volatile first memory, a non-volatile second memory, a hardware processor, a power supply and a delay unit, wherein the hardware processor executes a process defined by a program, after execution of the program ends, deletes data stored in the second memory by execution of the program by overwriting the stored data with predetermined data, in response to the generation of the stop trigger, stores data, stored in the first memory, in the second memory as a snapshot, in response to generation of a start trigger, transfers the snapshot stored in the second memory to the first memory, and in the case where prospective deletion data that is to be deleted is stored in the second memory in a stage where the stop trigger is generated, overwrites the prospective deletion data with the snapshot without overwriting the prospective deletion data with the predetermined data.
Abstract:
A communication device includes a first holding unit which holds a disk-like first recording medium capable of storing information and a second holding unit which holds a second recording medium which is different from the first recording medium. The communication device further includes a request reception unit configured to receive a request for information indicating a recording medium which is usable by the communication device from a terminal device, and a transmission unit configured to transmit information indicating the first recording medium and information indicating the second recording medium held by the second holding unit to the terminal device when the request is received.
