摘要:
A method of fabrication for precast concrete structural members, including providing an automated concrete structural member fabrication system, including at least one casting machine having a self-releasing mold which includes side walls and end dams which are pivotally movable from an open position to a closed position, and a bottom casting surface, where the bottom casting surface, the side walls, and the end dams surround a cavity when the side walls and the end dams are in closed position, and a removable mold core subsystem which is removably positionable within the cavity; moving the mold sides, the mold end dams and the bottom casting surfaces to a closed position; positioning the mold core subsystem within the cavity; filling the cavity with wet concrete; idling the casting machine until the wet concrete has achieved initial set to form an initial set concrete block; automatically releasing the self-releasing mold from the initial set concrete block; and removing the initial set concrete block from the casting machine.

Methods and apparatuses disclosed herein relate to a recyclable thermoplastic unit that includes a casing body composed of a first thermoplastic having a first melting point. The casing body also includes a first locking mechanism that is configured to mate with a second locking mechanism of a sacrifice layer. The sacrifice layer is composed of a second thermoplastic and includes the second locking mechanism. The sacrifice layer has a melting point that is greater than the melting point of the casing body.

A method for producing a multilayered moulding (2), in particular a panelling element for a motor vehicle, forms an intermediate layer at least in some parts between a substrate layer (6) and a decorative layer (7). In this case the substrate layer (6) and the decorative layer (7) are arranged in a mould cavity (5) of a die (1), wherein at least in some sections between the substrate layer (6) and the decorative layer (7) at least one hollow cavity (9) is formed. After this the intermediate layer (8) is formed in the hollow cavity (9).
摘要:
A mold assembly for manufacturing concrete blocks in an automated dry-cast block machine. The mold assembly includes a plurality of liner plates which together form a mold cavity, wherein at least one of the liner plates includes an internal network of shafts which is configured to receive and provide a flow path for heated fluid to pass through to heat the at least one liner plate.

A method and apparatus for forming cast-in-place window well walls includes first and second forming panel modules each having an inner and outer section. The forming panel modules may be connected together by a spacer panel which extends downwardly to a footing for providing a pier for supporting the window well wall. The forming panel modules are preferably configured with arcuate corners and upper and lower rails to permit stacking of the modules to increase the height of the window well wall, or include additional spacer panels or filler forms to increase the width or thickness of the window well wall.

A first mold has a core passage, and first and second cavities in fluid communication with each other at the core passage. A second mold has first and second nozzles therein that inject first and second resins to the first and second cavities, respectively. The core member is slidable within the core passage to provide or block the fluid communication between the cavities, and has a third nozzle therein to inject a third resin to the core passage. The first and second resins are injected into the cavities. The core member is moved to block the fluid communication between the cavities, before injecting the first and second resins is completed. The third resin is injected while moving the core member to provide the fluid communication, after injecting the first and second resins is completed. The molds are separated, thereby yielding a single molded product, such as a vehicle door trim.

A modular plastic floor tile has a body of a first polymer compound and features overmolded onto the body from a second polymer compound. The compounds may be different from each other in hardness and/or color. The features may include raised pads on the upper surface and/or skins on support member cores downwardly depending from the tile lower surface. The pads on the upper surface may be injection-molded from the lower surface through through-holes. Lateral edges of the tile are provided with latches which fit into loops with an interference fit. The loops flex in order to impose a compressive force on mating tile edges. The tile may have an overmolded peripheral seal.
摘要:
A method for fabricating a grid-stiffened structure from fiber-reinforced composite materials. Ribs are formed on a smooth hard base tool. Expansion blocks are placed in the shallow cavities formed by the ribs and the base tool, and held in place by one of several means while a skin is placed over the ribs, expansion blocks, and base tool. The assembly is then placed in a vacuum bag and autoclave cured. After cooling, the formed structure is separated from the base tool and the expansion blocks are removed from the cavities.
