Abstract:
An inter-bank email and mobile invoicing network is disclosed. Embodiments disclosed herein include an inter-bank email and mobile invoicing network that enables customers of banks or independent portals to send invoices to an email address or mobile phone number. The invoice can be received by the recipient within their bank's online or mobile banking site, in the case of banks that belong to a network that is managed by the proprietors of a financial management system and payment hub as disclosed herein. These banks will be referred to as “network banks” herein. The inter-bank invoicing network also refers to a common provider or connected providers of an invoicing and payment service that is linked to banks and to independent service providers.
Abstract:
In a push-to-talk communication system, frames are sent by a talking device before confirmation that the device has the floor. These are flagged, sent for a limited duration and buffered in a listening device. Playback is triggered either by receipt of frames flagged as ‘confirmed’ or by receipt of the ‘receiving talk burst’ message from a server.
Abstract:
Clay-based compositions capable of absorbing contaminants from surfaces or objects having surface faces, may be applied to a surface and later removed, the removed clay-based compositions absorbing at least a portion of the contaminant from the surface or object to which it was applied.
Abstract:
The invention provides a method of handover from an active network to a selected one of a plurality of potential other networks. In addition to the overall solution, the solution proposed has several individual aspects. All subsidiary aspects are related to the common problem mentioned above and sharing the underlying common solution concept of implementing a system in which selective handover is possible and in which a list of available other networks provided by an active network can be handled and selection made by a terminal, so that neighbor cell information can be transmitted based on expressed terminal preferences.
Abstract:
Molecular sieves are prepared by forming a reaction mixture slurry, spray drying the reaction mixture slurry to form particles, and heating the spray dried reaction mixture at a temperature and pressure sufficient to cause crystallization of the molecular sieve. The reaction mixture contains an organic templating agent capable of forming the molecular sieve. The template may be added to the reaction mixture either by adding all of the template prior to spray drying, or by adding a portion of the template prior to spray drying with the remainder being added after spray drying.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to non-pathogenic strains of HIV-1 and to components, parts, fragments and derivatives thereof and to genetic sequences derived therefrom and their use in the development of diagnostic and therapeutic compositions for the treatment and prophylaxis of AIDS and AIDS-related disorders. The present invention also relates to a method for attenuating pathogenic strains of HIV-1 by mutagenizing particular regions of the HIV-1 genome.
Abstract:
A mechanical bladder pump is provided for collecting fluid samples from a well. The pump includes an outer tubular member having a longitudinal bore, and an inner tubular member arranged within the bore of the outer tubular member. The inner and outer tubular members are connected at their lower ends to a compressible bladder, and are arranged for oscillating movement relative to each other to expand and compress the bladder. The lower end of the bladder is open to an inlet passage, and the upper end of the bladder is open to an outlet passage. First and second check valves are provided to control the flow of fluid through the bladder during operation of the pump. A return spring is used to store energy during a tension stroke of the inner tubular member and to release energy during a compression stroke thereof. The pump provides highly representative samples of groundwater.
Abstract:
Various circuit devices for contact defect inspection and methods of fabrication and use thereof are provided. In one aspect, a circuit device is provided that includes a substrate and an insulating film positioned on the substrate that has a plurality of openings therein. A plurality of members is provided. Each of the plurality of members is positioned in one of the plurality of openings and has known dimensions. The plurality of members provide a known set of defects in the plurality of openings to facilitate inspection of the plurality of openings. The circuit device may be used to accurately calibrate inspection tools to detect contact defects.
Abstract:
Various methods of inspecting a workpiece for residue are provided. In one aspect, a test structure is provided that includes a substrate, a first conductor on the substrate and a second conductor on the substrate. A resistor network is coupled in parallel between the first conductor and the second conductor. The resistor network has n resistors and n contacts and a measurable resistance RM. Each of the n resistors has a known resistance Rk and a known position on the substrate. Each of the n contacts is connected between one of the n resistors and the first conductor or the second conductor, whereby the location of any of the n contacts in an open state is determined from the equation: R M = 1 1 R k + … 1 R n The test structure provides for not only the identity but also the location of open contacts.
