摘要: The present invention provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising a morphogenic protein stimulatory factor (MPSF) for improving the tissue inductive activity of morphogenic proteins, particularly those belonging to the BMP protein family. Methods for improving the tissue inductive activity of a morphogenic protein in a mammal using those compositions are provided. This invention also provides implantable morphogenic devices comprising a morphogenic protein and a MPSF disposed within a carrier, that are capable of inducing tissue formation in allogeneic and xenogeneic implants. Methods for inducing local tissue formation from a progenitor cell in a mammal using those devices are also provided. A method for accelerating allograft repair in a mammal using morphogenic devices is provided. This invention also provides a prosthetic device comprising a prosthesis coated with a morphogenic protein and a MPSF, and a method for promoting in vivo integration of an implantable prosthetic device to enhance the bond strength between the prosthesis and the existing target tissue at the joining site. Methods of treating tissue degenerative conditions in a mammal using the pharmaceutical compositions are also provided.

摘要: A novel processing method of producing a solid fat products from air flotation sludge fat, vegetable soap stock and an oily liquid oil ingredient with more than 15% free fatty acid level on a fat basis is provided. The liquid fat or oil ingredient is heated to above 85 degree C., mixed with an alkali, dried to less than 18% moisture, and cooled to below 45 degree C. to convert the oily liquid fat or oil ingredient into the solid fat product in dry form. The product has the bypass fat function. The product is free-flowing and easy to be handled, delivered and applied.

摘要: A system for determination of the functionality of an audio-related device that is operable in an audio system includes a performance equipment manager. The performance equipment manager may receive from an audio-related device an audio node structure representative of the corresponding audio-related device. The received audio node structure may be reviewed to determine if all the components included in the audio node structure are predefined within the performance equipment manager. For those components that are known, no discovery is necessary and actual values of changeable parameters in the audio-related device may be obtained. For unknown components of the audio node structure, the performance equipment manager may undertake discovery to identify additional portions of the audio node structure, and/or attributes related to the unknown components, in order to obtain actual values of changeable parameters related to the unknown components.

摘要: A method of etching nitride over oxide is provided for the formation of vertical profile nitride spacers with high uniformity while maintaining the integrity of underlying thin oxide layers. The method includes providing a first gas flow including a first fluorocarbon and a second fluorocarbon at a first ratio, applying a first quantity of power to the first gas flow to create a first plasma, etching a first portion of a silicon nitride layer with the first plasma, providing a second gas flow including the first fluorocarbon and the second fluorocarbon at a second ratio greater than the first ratio, applying a second quantity of power to the second gas flow to create a second plasma, and etching a second portion of the silicon nitride layer with the second plasma.

摘要: A method for fabricating a field emission display (FED) with improved junction leakage characteristics is provided. The method includes the formation of a light blocking element between a cathodoluminescent display screen of the FED and semiconductor junctions formed on a baseplate of the FED. The light blocking element protects the junctions from light formed at the display screen and light generated in the environment striking the junctions. Electrical characteristics of the junctions thus remain constant and junction leakage is improved. The light blocking element may be formed as an opaque light absorbing or light reflecting layer. In addition, the light blocking element may be patterned to protect predetermined areas of the baseplate and may provide other circuit functions such as an interconnect layer.
