    摘要: In a powder forging process, a heated green compact is placed in a stationary die and subjected to a press-forging carried out mainly to reduce the thickness thereof by cooperation of the stationary die with a movable die. The press-forging is performed at two pressing steps. After placement of the green compact into the concave molding portion of the stationary die, the pressing step were carried out. Thus, it is possible to produce a forged product having a high strength and a high toughness. A heated heat insulator also may be placed in the stationary die to provide a temperature-retaining effect to the green compact before and during pressing.

    摘要: A method for producing a plate denture which includes heating a flask after embedding a wax denture and wax elimination to a temperature for polymerizing a heat-curable resin, the flask being an assembly including a first half shell having a plaster cast with a corresponding mucosal surface and a second half shell having a plaster cast with artificial teeth embedded therein. The method further including placing the heat-curable resin into the heated flask for polymerization while the flask is at an elevated temperature from the heating, and polymerizing the heat-curable resin in the heated flask. Wherein, during the step of heating the first half shell is heated to a higher temperature level in a range of temperature for polymerizing the heat-curable resin while the second half shell is heated to a lower temperature level in the range than the first half shell.

    摘要: A slip control device of a fluid coupling is mounted in an automatic transmission of the type having a lockup clutch for directly coupling the input side and the output side of the fluid coupling to each other and a hydraulic control circuit for adjusting the locking force of the lockup clutch so as to make the slip of the lockup clutch controllable. The slip control device includes an electric control unit for controlling the hydraulic control circuit so that the locking force of the lockup clutch is set to a predetermined value intermediate between a value corresponding to a complete lockup condition and a value corresponding to a complete release condition during a predetermined period of time. Upon lapse of the predetermined period of time, the locking force of the lockup clutch is reduced temporarily and then increased gradually.

    摘要: A burner includes a number of flame ports each having a fuel supply passage and provided on a pair of opposite walls of a combustion chamber such that each of the walls and the fuel supply passages define a cooling passage. In the burner, a wide stable flame region is achieved at a high excess air ratio, the amount of NOx produced is reduced and backfire is prevented by cooling the fuel supply passages. Furthermore, a flame area per unit area of each flame port is increased such that the burner can effect high-load combustion.

    摘要: There is disclosed a robot used in a clean room and adapted to transport a wafer cassette containing semiconductor wafers. The robot includes: a guide rail disposed in the clean room; a robot body slidably connected to the guide rail for movement along the guide rail; and a first drive mechanism for driving the robot body along the guide rail. The robot body includes: a clamping hand for releasably clamping the wafer cassette; an arm assembly, extending between the guide rail and the clamping hand, for controlling the position of the clamping hand; and a wrist assembly, interposed between the arm assembly and the clamping hand, for adjusting the orientation of the clamping hand. The wrist assembly includes: a wrist frame connected via a horizontal pivot to the arm assembly for upward and downward movement, the wrist frame rotatably supporting the clamping hand for turning about an axis perpendicular to the horizontal pivot; a second drive mechanism for pivoting the wrist frame relative to the arm assembly; and a third drive mechanism for turning the clamping hand relative to the wrist frame.

The upper face of the bedplate member is inclined with respect to a horizontal plane in such a manner that one of its opposite side edges is positioned at a higher level than the other side edge.
