    摘要: A surface fastener molding apparatus includes a supporting structure and a second supporting structure for axially supporting a mold roll in a rotatable manner at a first end side and a second end side of the mold roll which is opposite to the first end side. The mold roll includes a circumferential surface in which a plurality of mold cavities for molding engaging elements of the surface fastener is provided. A first linear driving means and second linear driving means are provided which are for, respectively, advancing or retracting the first supporting structure and the second supporting structure. The degree of closeness between the extruding nozzle and the mold roll is regulatable across the first end side and the second end side of the mold roll, based on at least one activation of the first driving means and the second driving means.

    摘要: An injection compression molding system includes a mold having a fixed first half and a displaceable second half. The second half is initially positioned with a cavity between the mold halves having a first clearance sized to receive a molten material puddle shot injected by an injection molding device without the puddle shot filling the cavity. A displacement device acts during or immediately after puddle shot injection, displacing the second mold half toward the first mold half creating a second clearance less than the first clearance. The second clearance defines a finished part thickness whereby displacement of the second mold half to the second clearance compresses the puddle shot so that the puddle shot fills the cavity and forms a finished part between the mold halves. Total time to inject and compress the puddle shot is less than or equal to 1.0 seconds.

    摘要: An apparatus for continuously forming an extruded sheet product having an extruder assembly with a sheet die for delivering flowable material. A roll stand assembly has a main frame with first and second rolls. A vertical height positioning mechanism is operated to vary the relationship between the sheet die and nip location between rolls and has first and second lift components that cooperate with the main frame at first and second laterally spaced locations. The first and second lift components are each movable in first and second opposite paths to selectively elevate and lower the nip location relative to the sheet die. The vertical height positioning mechanism further has an actuating system to selectively and simultaneously cause the first and second lift components to move.
