摘要： In various examples, a component is for use in an implantable medical device. The component includes a pin including a first material attached to a lead including a second material different from the first material of the pin. At least a portion of the lead includes a channel in which at least a portion of the pin sits, the channel including a channel opening defined at least partially by opposing first and second channel sides extending a channel length. At least a first joint is formed along at least a portion of the first channel side. The first joint includes the second material of the lead deformed to at least partially close the channel opening to retain the pin within the channel to attach the lead to the pin. In some examples, the first material includes molybdenum and the second material includes aluminum.

The single positive and negative electrode terminals each have a single protruding portion protruding from the laminate exterior body in one direction. An insulating plate is arranged between main side surfaces of the single protruding portions of the terminals. On one side of the insulating plate in a facing direction, only the single protruding portion of the positive terminal protrudes from the laminate exterior body, and on the other side of the insulating plate in the facing direction, only the single protruding portion of the negative terminal protrudes from the laminate exterior body.

摘要： A battery of a preselected type advantageously has a beveled edge formed between a front-end surface and a lateral surface of the battery. In a battery charger, a slot has a cap formed with an interior channel for receiving a front-end portion of the preselected-type battery. The cap has a stopping member for stopping the preselected-type battery so as to receive recharging. Advantageously, the stopping member may be shaped to complement the beveled edge for seamlessly receiving the beveled edge when the preselected-type battery is inserted into the slot. A mismatch between the stopping member and a line edge of an unaccepted-type battery causes the stopping member to block the unaccepted-type battery from reaching deeper into the channel than the preselected-type battery when the unaccepted-type battery is inserted, disconnecting a positive charging terminal from the unaccepted-type battery to avoid the charger from accidentally recharging the unaccepted-type battery.
