摘要: Provided is a coating composition set capable of achieving both a metallic design and coating film performance. A coating composition set including: a colored coating composition (a), a luster coating composition (b), and a clear coating composition (c), wherein the colored coating composition (a) includes a hydroxy group-containing resin (a1), a first curing agent (a2), and a coloring pigment (a3); the hydroxy group-containing resin (a1) includes a first hydroxy group-containing resin (a11) having a number average molecular weight of 3000 or less and a second hydroxy group-containing resin (a12) having a number average molecular weight of 100000 or more; the luster coating composition (b) includes a scaly pigment (b1), a cellulose ester derivative (b2), a cellulose nanofiber (b3), a phosphoric acid group-containing compound (b4), and an aqueous solvent (b5); the luster coating composition (b) has a solid content of 0.1% by mass or more and 12% by mass or less; and the clear coating composition (c) is a two-pack type including a third hydroxy group-containing resin (c1) and a second curing agent (c2).

摘要: Provided are a water-borne luster coating composition and a coated plate which can exhibit a metallic design and in which coating film defects are prevented. A water-borne luster coating composition comprising a cellulose ester derivative, a cellulose nanofiber, and a scaly pigment, wherein an amount of a solid contained in the water-borne luster coating composition is 0.1% by mass or more and 12% by mass or less. A coated plate comprising an article to be coated and a luster coating film, wherein the luster coating film is formed of the water-borne luster coating composition.

摘要: The present invention provides a cationic electrodeposition coating composition that has both good anti-cissing property and good coating film appearance. This is a cationic electrodeposition coating composition containing a silicone compound (A) having an SP value of more than 10.5 and 15.0 or less, and a film forming resin (B), wherein the silicone compound (A) is contained in an amount of 0.01 parts by mass or more and 4.5 parts by mass or less per 100 parts by mass of the resin solid content of the film forming resin (B). For example, the silicone compound (A) is at least one species selected from the group consisting of a polyether modified silicone compound (A-1), a polyester modified silicone compound (A-2), and a polyacrylic modified silicone compound (A-3).

摘要: A photovoltaic cell module in which a difference in color between a photovoltaic cell and the other portion is made to disappear and the changes of the color and appearance of its surface depending upon a viewing angle is hardly visually recognized, while suppressing the reduction of the power generation amount of the photovoltaic cell. The present photovoltaic cell module includes a thin plate-like photovoltaic cell enclosed in transparent sealing material; a transparent face plate laminated on the surface of the sealing material on the light receiving surface side of the photovoltaic cell; and a decorative layer laminated on the face plate, where a transparent resin is employed as base material of the decorative layer and light transmissive scaly glitter pigment is dispersed in the decorative layer such that the surface direction of the pigment is along the face plate surface.

The present invention provides an aqueous coating composition comprising an acrylic resin dispersion (A) and a melamine resin (B), wherein the acrylic resin dispersion (A) has a core/shell structure, the acrylic resin dispersion (A) is a dispersion of a solution-polymerization product of a core part preparation monomer (a-1) and a shell part preparation monomer (a-2), wherein the shell part preparation monomer (a-2) comprises an acid group-containing polymerizable monomer, the mass ratio of the core part to the shell part of the acrylic resin dispersion (A) is in the range of core part/shell part=30/70 to 70/30, the shell part of the acrylic resin dispersion (A) has an acid group, and the neutralization rate of the acid groups in the shell part is 50% or more, the weight-average molecular weight of the acrylic resin dispersion (A) is in the range of 10,000 to 70,000, the core part preparation monomer (a-1) has an acid value of 10 mg KOH/g or less, and the shell part preparation monomer (a-2) has an acid value of 10 mg KOH/g or more and 70 mg KOH/g or less, the whole monomer mixture comprising the core part preparation monomer (a-1) and the shell part preparation monomer (a-2) has an acid value of 10 mg KOH/g or more and 30 mg KOH/g or less, the glass transition temperature of the acrylic resin dispersion (A) is in the range of −10 to 60° C., and the melamine resin (B) comprises a hydrophobic melamine resin.-

摘要: A challenge of the present invention is to provide a water-based coating composition capable of providing a design superior in depth feeling in the formation of a multilayer coating film having a so-called color clear coating film.
