    摘要： Provided is a DAB-containing substrate kit that is capable of enhancing specific staining intensity and reducing precipitation due to DAB aggregation in DAB-containing substrate solution and nonspecific staining, such as background staining, in chromogenic reaction using a peroxidase-labeled antibody, by the use of chromogenic reaction solution containing DAB and its sensitizer imidazole. The kit includes chromophore-containing solution (A) containing a peroxidase chromophore DAB and water; and chromogenic reagent (B) containing: at least one chelating agent selected from the group consisting of EDTA-2Na, EDTA-2NH4, GEDTA, and NTA; POE and/or POP alkyl ether nonionic surfactant; imidazole; hydrogen peroxide; and water. The kit is in a system of two- or more components with at least the chromophore-containing solution (A) and the chromogenic reagent (B) being separately stored.

    摘要： The present invention is to provide a tissue slice selection method and an embedded block-preparing cassette which are capable of suppressing occurrence of errors in inspection results. The present invention makes it possible to suppress the occurrence of errors in inspection results by including: an embedded block-preparing process of preparing an embedded block by embedding both a biological tissue fragment and a standard substance in the same embedding agent; an embedded tissue slice preparing step of slicing the embedded block to prepare a sheet-like embedded tissue slice having a tissue slice and standard substance slices appearing on a surface thereof; and a tissue slice selecting step of selecting the tissue slice to be inspected, based on a light signal from the standard substance slice.

    摘要： An automatic tissue staining device includes a supply head that supplies a treatment fluid, a horizontal direction movement unit that moves the supply head in a horizontal direction, and a holding unit that holds a plurality of glass slides on which samples are set. The automatic tissue staining device further includes a control unit that judges an occupancy status of the horizontal direction movement unit in a condition that one or more of the glass slides are situated in a first region prior to supplying the treatment fluid from the supply head to one or more samples in the first region, suspends a start of a treatment for the samples in the first region when the horizontal direction movement unit is occupied, and permits the treatment for the samples in the first region when the horizontal direction movement unit is not occupied.
