    摘要: Oriented, syndiotactic, optically transparent vinylaromatic polymers are prepared by a process comprising heating the polymer to a temperature above its crystalline melting point, cooling the polymer to a temperature less than an orientable temperature at a rate sufficient to avoid substantial crystal formation, and inducing strain into the polymer while at a orientable temperature to induce crystal formation and molecular orientation.

    摘要: An elongated non-metal, non corrosive compressor mounting base plate structure including: (I) a base plate (40) segment having a top surface and a bottom surface, said base plate segment further comprising four vertical sidewalls (54) disposed perpendicular to the horizontal plane of the base plate and integral with the base plate segment, one vertical sidewall disposed on each of the four sides of the base plate segment and along the perimeter of the top surface of the base plate segment forming a base plate tray member; wherein the base plate segment is adapted for receiving a compressor on the top surface of the base plate segment within the area of the base plate segment surrounded by the four vertical sidewalls; (II) a means (56) for receiving and removably affixing a compressor to the top surface of the base plate segment; and (III) a reinforcement means integral with said base plate segment; wherein said reinforcement means includes at least two elongated transverse reinforcement segments integral with the base plate segment, one transverse reinforcement segment at each of the transverse sides of the base plate segment; said reinforcement means being adapted for providing the compressor mounting base plate structure with sufficient strength and rigidity such that the compressor mounting base plate structure can withstand deformation a load from the weight of the compressor; and wherein the compressor mounting base plate structure comprises a non-metal, non corrosive structure. In an optional preferred embodiment, the above compressor mounting base plate structure may include (IV) at least one load bearing/load distributing structure; (V) a drip tray member which can be integrally or removably attached to the above compressor mounting base plate; and/or (VI) a repositioning means such as wheel members.

    摘要: The invention relates to a process for the epoxidation of an olefin comprising (a) reacting the olefin with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of methanol as solvent in at least two reaction stages to obtain a mixture (M-a) comprising olefin oxide, unreacted olefin, methanol and water, wherein between at least two reaction stages, olefin oxide is separated by distillation; (b) separating unreacted olefin from the mixture (M-a) by distillation to obtain a mixture (M-bi) comprising at least 80 wt.-% of olefin and a mixture (M-bii) comprising methanol, water and at least 7 wt.-% of olefin oxide; (c) separating olefin oxide from the mixture (M-bii) in at least one distillation stage to obtain a mixture (M-ci) comprising at least 99 wt.-% of oletin oxide and a mixture (M-cii) comprising water and at least 55 wt.-% of methanol; (d) separating methanol from the mixture (M-cii) in at least one distillation stage to obtain a mixture (M-di) comprising at least 85 wt.-% of methanol and up to 10 wt.-% of water, and a mixture (M-dii) comprising at least 90 wt.-% of water; wherein a vapor top stream (Td) obtained from at least one distillation column used in (d), said vapor top stream (Td) comprising at least 85 wt.-% methanol, is used to operate at least partially at least one vaporizer used in at least one distillation column used in at least one of stages (a), (b) and (c).
