Abstract:
A firework safety igniting device includes a housing having a hollow interior and an open end, the open end sized to receive a firework fuse therethrough; A first electrode is mounted within the hollow interior on an interior surface of the housing. A second electrode is also mounted within the hollow interior on the interior surface in a spaced apart relationship with the first electrode. A source is provided to generate and supply, through wires, an electric charge to the first and second electrodes, whereby the first electrode is being negatively charged and the second electrode is being positively charged. The firework fuse, being inserted into the hollow interior through the open end, is positioned in a contact with the first and second electrodes, the contact transferring the electric charge to the firework fuse causing an ignition thereof.
Abstract:
A device and a method for monitoring and analysis utilize unintended electromagnetic emissions of electrically powered components, devices or systems. The emissions are received at the antenna and a receiver. A processor processes and measures change or changes in a signature of the unintended electromagnetic emissions. The measurement are analyzed to both record a baseline score for future measurements and to be used in determining status and/or health of the analyzed system or component.
Abstract:
A device configured for cleaning bag filters with compressed air comprises a frame having a hollow interior defining a wall of the frame and openings formed through a thickness of the wall so that the hollow interior is in open communication with an environment external to the frame. A mounting member is configured to be releaseably or permanently attached to one end of the frame and is further configured to be releaseably or permanently attached to a member configured to pass air flow therethrough.
Abstract:
A modular system for at least one of displaying and storing at least one article includes at least one pair of elongated cross members and at least one pair of support brackets being sized and shaped so as to position the at least one pair of the plurality of elongated cross members in a spaced apart parallel relationship with each other and further position a length of the at least one article in a generally normal orientation to lengths of the at least one pair of elongated cross members, whereby one end of the at least one article is supported on one of the at least one pair of elongated cross members and another end of the at least one article is supported on another one of the at least one pair of elongated cross members.
Abstract:
A Ship Board Ground Monitor System measures an antistatic bond between a ship and a loading-off-loading facility during operation and an earth ground while in the process of loading or unloading flammable materials. The system ensures that a maximum adjustable, preset resistance between the ship transport and safety ground is not exceeded. Should this resistance be exceeded, the control apparatus within the system will activate audible and visual annunciation and provide a contact output, which may be used to disable pumping systems.
Abstract:
A system comprises implements, each including a body, a receptacle disposed on one end of the body and having a bore and an aperture formed through spaced apart wall portions of the receptacle, a clip pivotally attached to the elongated body, and a spring operable to bias the clip for a contact with the elongated body. An applicator handle includes a body having a hollow interior and an end thereof sized and shaped to fit the bore of the receptacle, a resilient member disposed within the hollow interior, a pair of pins upstanding on the ends of the resilient member and sized to be received within the aperture and two buttons engageable with the resilient member and mounted for a linear movement, the two buttons are manually operable to move the pins toward each other for a selective engagement or disengagement of the pins with the aperture.
Abstract:
A button assembly includes a back member, a socket or a stud secured with an eyelet or a rivet to the back member and a shell crimped onto the back member. Indicia may be disposed on the exterior surface of the shell. The button assemblies, each with a unique image, can be used to form a puzzle or provide a method of personal expression or a method of communication.
