    摘要: The process and apparatus according to the invention allow the production of hydrocarbons and ammonia without the use of catalysts. For this purpose, waste gases containing CO2 or N2 from an upstream process are fed to compression reactors. In addition, hydrogen from an electrolyzer is fed to these reactors to enable hydrogenation of the fed substances. Methane, alcohols and ammonia, for example, can be produced by this process. In order to increase the yield of the process, it is planned to raise the reactant pressure with the aid of a compressor.

To optimize the reaction or conversion of nitrogen oxides, disposed downstream of the combination of a first SCR catalyst and a first NH3-oxidation catalyst is at least one second catalyst having SCR activity in order in this way to reduce the nitrogen oxides formed at the first NH3-oxidation catalyst due to insufficient selectivity of the catalyst to nitrogen with not yet oxidized NH3.

The method includes detecting pressure oscillations in the fuel system during operation by at least one sensor; determining at least one of a fuel type and the deviation from a reference fuel quality by analyzing the detected pressure oscillations in an electronic monitoring unit; and at least one of changing behavior of an exhaust gas aftertreatment system downstream of the internal combustion engine based at least in part on deviations of the untreated emissions of the internal combustion engine from the untreated emissions occurring when using the reference fuel, changing service intervals when a deviation from the reference fuel quality is determined, changing engine oil change intervals are changed when a deviation from the reference fuel quality is determined displaying information about use of a fuel deviating from the reference fuel is, displaying the changed service interval, changing operating parameters of the internal combustion engine, and changing operating parameters of the exhaust gas aftertreatment system downstream of the internal combustion engine.

    摘要: An exhaust gas post treatment system for nitrogen oxide and particle reduction of internal combustion engines operated with excess air. An oxidation catalytic converter is disposed in the exhaust gas stream of the engine for converting at least a portion of the nitric oxide in the exhaust gas into nitrogen dioxide. The first particle separator or filter is disposed in the exhaust gas stream downstream of the oxidation catalytic converter for converting carbon particles accumulated in the separator or filter into carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and nitric oxide with the aid of nitrogen dioxide contained in the exhaust gas. A partial exhaust gas stream is branched off from the exhaust gas stream upstream of the first separator or filter. A metering device adds reduction agent to the partial exhaust gas stream in the form of ammonia or a material that releases ammonia downstream of the supply location due to hot exhaust gas. A second particle separator or filter is disposed in the partial exhaust gas stream downstream of the supply location. The partial exhaust gas stream returns to the exhaust gas stream downstream of both particle separators or filters. An SCR catalytic converter is disposed downstream of the return location for reducing nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas to nitrogen and water vapor with the aid of ammonia or released ammonia by way of selective catalytic reduction.

    摘要: A method and arrangement for improving hydrolysis of a reduction agent in an exhaust gas post treatment system for selective catalytic reduction of NOx in the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine operated with excess air. A partial exhaust gas stream is branched off from an exhaust gas stream upstream of an SCR catalytic converter. A hydrolysis catalytic converter is disposed in the partial exhaust gas stream downstream of a metering arrangement for supplying reduction agent thereto. The partial stream is conveyed back to the main stream downstream of the hydrolysis catalytic converter and upstream of the SCR catalytic converter. The temperature at the hydrolysis catalytic converter is maintained within prescribed limits by actively controlling exhaust gas quantity conveyed in the partial stream by entirely or partially blocking the partial stream, via a flow control device, if temperature values at the hydrolysis catalytic converter and the main or partial stream exceed or do not reach specified or threshold values, and/or if certain operating conditions or condition changes of the engine occur.
