In accordance with the invention there is an aqueous composition comprising a. about 5-10 wt % of ##STR1## wherein R is alkyl and/or alkenyl having an average of from about 8 to 18 carbon atoms, inclusive; n is 1, 2 or 3; o, p and q are the same or different and are 1, 2 or 3; X is an alkali metal or amine cation; b. about 1 to 8 wt % of R.sup.1 --(OCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2).sub.m --OSO.sub.3.sup.- Y.sup.+ wherein R.sup.1 is alkyl and/or alkenyl of about 8 to 18 carbon atoms, inclusive; m is 0 or 1-10, y is an alkali metal or amine cation; c. about 0.5 to 5 wt % of a soap; d. about 1 to 5 wt % of an acylated hydrolyzed protein salt wherein the acyl group is alkyl and/or alkenyl carboxy acyl having an average number of carbon atoms of about 8 to 20 carbon atoms, inclusive; and e. about 0.1-5 wt % of an acyl glutamate salt wherein the acyl group is alkyl and/or alkenyl carboxy acyl having an average number of carbon atoms of from about 8 to 20 carbon atoms, inclusive.

    摘要: A multi-layer tubing for use in fluid transport applications. The tubing is suitable for conveying fluids containing hydrocarbons. The tubing comprising an extrudable adhesive layer coextruded around a permeation-resistant layer of fluoropolymer and a layer of polymer chemically dissimilar from fluoropolymer coextruded around the adhesive . The adhesive layer is formed of a polymer blend or alloy having a multi-phase morphology wherein one phase is miscible with the fluoropolymer for forming the inner permeation-resistant layer and another phase is miscible with the polymer chemically dissimilar from fluoropolymer.To achieve sufficient bonding, the adhesive layer comprises at least 25% volume fraction of the first phase which is miscible with the fluoropolymer for forming inner permeation-resistant layer and at least 25% volume fraction of the second phase which is miscible with the polymer chemically dissimilar from fluoropolymer.Furthermore, the adhesive layer of polymer blends or alloys having a multi-phase morphology can be modified by adding compatibilizers and rheology modifiers to improve adhesion strength and to allow the material for forming the adhesive layer to obtain proper viscosity and elasticity for extrusion.

    摘要: The formation of novel water soluble and water insoluble gels by interpolymer reactions of selective anionic polymers with selective cationic polymers in an aqueous medium, with either polymer serving as a cross-linking agent under specific conditions of speed and concentration. The selective cationic polymer is a quaternized ammonium polyelectrolyte selected from the group consisting of poly (diallyldimethylammonium chloride), poly (diallyldimethylammonium chloride-co-acrylamide), and a quaternary ammonium cellulose ether polymer. The anionic polymer is selected from the group consisting of a polysulfonic acid and alginic acid. The formation of the gel structure depends on fast and intensive interaction of the two opposite charges to insure a maximum amount of ion pair formation. The solubility of the gel depends on the formation of intimate or loose ion pairs; which depends on the charge density and structure of the polyelectrolytes. These interpolymer gels exhibit a dramatic increase in viscosity. The water soluble gels produced can be used as foam enhancers and conditioning agents in cosmetic compositions such as shaving gels, shampoos and the like; and in sewage treatment (removal of sebum and traces of organic substances). The water insoluble gels are clear and of extremely high viscoelasticity which can be made into clear films.

This shampoo is transparent in appearance and should preferably contain 65-80% water.
