    摘要: The present invention describes use of a fluid having a VI of at least 130 to improve the energy efficiency of a hydraulic system. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a hydraulic system comprising a hydraulic fluid having a VI of at least 130, a unit for creating mechanical power, a unit that converts mechanical power into hydraulic energy, and a unit that converts hydraulic energy into mechanical work. Preferentially, engine speed can be reduced to decrease load and stress while delivering the same amount of hydraulic power.

    摘要: A method is provided for forming a tacky surface area on a styrenic resin, such as a polystyrene label. A thin film is applied of an alkyl, aryl or alkaryl ester of a phosphorus oxyacid providing a tacky area suitable for bonding to another surface. A composition particularly useful for bonding polystyrene labels to bottles is a solid alkyl, aryl or alkaryl ester of a phosphorus oxyacid and a cosolvent selected from terpenoids and aromatic compounds having a flash point of at least 35.degree. C. and a boiling point between 100.degree. C. and 260.degree. C.

    摘要: A flame retardant grease composition is described for low temperature applications comprising mixed alkoxy and alkylated phenyl triesters of a phosphorus oxyacid as a base fluid and a siliceous microparticulate inorganic thickener. The grease has excellent low, medium and high temperature physical properties, which makes it suitable for service in applications with wide temperature (-40.degree. C. to +150.degree. C.) fluctuations. The benefits of reduced rolling resistance can be realized in significant energy savings and the possibility of constructing longer conveyor lines with existing drive motors.
