    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a novel propylene-based polymer capable of providing a propylene-based polymer with a good adhesion and coatability. The present invention lies in a propylene-based polymer having a propylene component with several characteristics including a weight-average molecular weight Mw from not smaller than 5,000 to less than 1,000,000 as measured by GPC, and Regio irregular units based on 2,1-inserted propylene monomer and/or 1,3-inserted propylene monomer present in its main chain and the sum of the ratio of regio irregular units based on 2,1-insertion and 1,3-insertion to all propylene insertions not smaller than 0.05%.

    摘要: A thermoplastic resin composition comprising (A) from about 10 to about 90% by weight of a hydroxyalkylated polyphenylene ether represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein A represents a residue of a polyphenylene ether from which a hydroxyl group is removed; and n represents an integer of from 1 to 10, and (B) from about 10 to about 90% by weight of a resin selected from a carboxyl-containing olefin resin, an epoxy-containing olefin resin, a hydroxyl-containing olefin resin, a polyamide resin, and a saturated polyester resin, provided that when (B) is the olefin resin, the hydroxyalkylated polyphenylene ether also can be represented by formula (II): ##STR2## wherein A is defined as above; X represents an oxygen atom or a nitrogen atom; R.sup.1 represents an alkylene group having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms; R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each represents a hydrocarbon group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms; s represents 1 when X is an oxygen atom, or 2 when X is a nitrogen atom; and t represents an integer of from 1 to 3.

    摘要: A method for producing a prepreg roving, which comprises impregnating a composition comprising an unsaturated polyester, an unsaturated monomer and a polyisocynate compound in a filamentary reinforcing material, and then heating the impregnated reinforcing material to react the unsaturated polyester with the polyisocyanate compound; and a method for producing a fiber-reinforced plastic article, which comprises disposing prepreg rovings (A), said prepreg rovings being prepared by the above method between at least two plies of sheet molding compound (B) obtained by impregnating a composition comprising an unsaturated polyester and an unsaturated monomer in glass fibers and forming the impregnated product into a sheet; and consolidating the resulting assembly under heat and pressure.

    摘要: A grating of fiber reinforced plastic comprising a plurality of main beams of substantially I-shape in section made of fiber reinforced plastic and arranged in parallel to one another, and grid members also made of fiber reinforced plastic and engaged with the plurality of main beams to be integrally fixed to one another. By such a construction, there is produced an a cooperation between the high strength of the main beams and the load transmission performance of the grid members resulting in higher strength than conventional gratings of the same material. Individual components of the grating are suited for standardization and mass production, and besides gratings of various length and width are achieved by variation in the combination of the components.
