摘要: An engine intake air duct 1 has an intake portion 10 that extends along a first center line A, and a main duct portion 20 that extends along a second center line B. The main duct portion 20 has a merging portion 50, a discharge opening 21, and an extending portion 40 that extends from the merging portion 50 towards an opposite end to the discharge opening 20. A reflecting wall 41 is provided at an end face of the extending portion 40. The intake portion 10 merges with the main duct portion 20 in such a way that the first center line A is directed towards a downstream end of the main duct portion 20.

摘要: A thermal insulating cover which can be easily fitted on an object.[Means for solution] A thermal insulating cover 10 to be fitted on a battery B so that a wall portion 12 in a cylindrical form of the cover covers the entire periphery of the side surface of the battery B. The wall portion 12 has a general portion 18, which is disposed to be separate from the side surface of the battery B, and a sealing portion 20, which is formed to protrude inward more than the general portion 18 and elastically abutting on the side surface of the battery B. The thermal insulating cover 10 closes an upper side of a space G formed between the side surface of the battery B and the general portion 18 by the sealing portion 20.

摘要: A noise attenuator which can reduce time and cost for installation thereof as compared with the conventional configuration and a vehicle air intake duct provided with the noise attenuator are provided. The noise attenuator includes a pair of circular through holes formed through a duct wall, a pair of wave transmitting/receiving membrane which are stretched so as to close the circular through holes, and a seesaw member which connects between central portions of the paired transmitting/receiving membranes. Accordingly, when one of the membranes receives a sound wave of noise thereby to be vibrated at a predetermined frequency, the other membrane follows it and is also vibrated while shifted by a half cycle. As a result, a cancellation wave with a phase opposite to the sound wave received by the one membrane is transmitted from the other membrane, whereupon the noise can be attenuated.

A corona treatment is applied to the pad-side skin layer (27a).

摘要: A porous plate member is positioned in one mold using a movable pin in a state in which a leading end portion including an oblique face portion provided in the one mold is projecting out toward another mold. The one mold and the other mold are clamped together to press the porous plate member, and the movable pin is pressed and retracted by the other mold. A synthetic resin material is injected into the cavity, and the flow thereof is applied to the leading end portion (42) of the movable pin to further retract the movable pin, and the synthetic resin material is cured in a state in which the synthetic resin material has entered a space in which the movable pin has been retracted, thereby manufacturing a composite member.
