    摘要: A portable solar energy generation system that has a disassembled configuration and an assembled configuration. The system includes a solar energy generation assembly, and portable container. The system may further include an internal frame, a power inverter, charge controller, batteries, attachment components, wires, user input devices, fluid tank, turbine, pump, generator, and other system components. When in the disassembled configuration, all system components including the solar energy generation assembly are packaged within the portable container. When in the disassembled configuration, the solar energy generation assembly is coupled to an external surface of the container and is either generating electricity within the container or redirecting sunlight for electricity generation at a predetermined target.

    摘要: A virtual shuffleboard table gaming apparatus including a housing having a playing field, a game acquisition circuit, and a display. As a puck is propelled towards a puck return at the distal end of the playing field, the puck temporarily obstructs at least two beams from transmitters. Sensors that receive the transmitted beams provide information to the game acquisition circuit indicative of the time when the beams were blocked and unblocked. The duration of time the beams are block are used by a game controller to calculate the angle of travel, location, and velocity of the puck. This information is then used by the game controller to determine the travel path and resting place of a virtual puck on a virtual playing field, as well as determine whether the virtual puck rests in a scoring zone and maintain a game score.

    摘要: A micromachined microphone is formed from a silicon or silicon-on-insulator (SOI) wafer. A fixed sensing electrode for the microphone is formed from a top silicon layer of the wafer. Various polysilicon microphone structures are formed above a front side of the top silicon layer by depositing at least one oxide layer, forming the structures, and then removing a portion of the oxide underlying the structures from a back side of the top silicon layer through trenches formed through the top silicon layer. The trenches allow sound waves to reach the diaphragm from the back side of the top silicon layer. In an SOI wafer, a cavity is formed through a bottom silicon layer and an intermediate oxide layer to expose the trenches for both removing the oxide and allowing the sound waves to reach the diaphragm. An inertial sensor may be formed on the same wafer, with various inertial sensor structures formed at substantially the same time and using substantially the same processes as corresponding microphone structures.

Game play information may be inputted into a communicator through the use of a user interface. According to some embodiments, a game play template may be used to input the game play information in the communicator. A variety of different methodologies, depending on the type of communicator utilized, may be used to communicate the inputted game play information to a host game server, including, but not limited to, MMS, SMS texting, WAP, or any other such portable text messaging or worldwide web accessible functionality. Opponents may have an opportunity to edit and validate the inputted game play information. Recorded game play information or league reports may be communicated to the communicator.

    摘要: A method of producing a MEMS device forms structure on a non-standard device wafer. To that end, the method provides the noted non-standard device wafer, which has a wafer outer diameter and a non-standard thickness. As known by those in the art, a standard device wafer has a standard thickness when its outer diameter equals the wafer outer diameter. In illustrative embodiments, however, the non-standard thickness is smaller than the standard thickness. The method then forms structure on the non-standard device wafer.
