摘要: An electrical turbo-machine includes a stator (101), a rotor (102), and a turbine section (110) driven with a working flow containing vaporizable material, for example water, in vaporized form. The rotor includes cooling channels (106-109) for conducting, through the rotor, a cooling flow containing the vaporizable material in liquid form. The rotor is arranged to conduct the cooling flow through an area where an impeller or impellers (111-114) of the turbine section are directly connected to the rotor and conduct the cooling flow to a same room to which the working flow comes out from the turbine section. The above-presented cooling system facilitates constructing the electrical turbo-machine as a hermetic structure in a power plant where bearings of the electrical turbo-machine are lubricated by the vaporizable material, a supply pump is directly connected to the rotor, and the vaporizable material in gaseous form fills the gas spaces of the stator.

摘要: A wastewater purification system includes first purification equipment (101) for receiving wastewater and for outputting first time purified wastewater and sludge, and second purification equipment (102) for receiving the first time purified wastewater and for outputting second time purified wastewater and purification residue. The second purification equipment is based on the reverse osmosis and/or nanofiltration technology. The wastewater purification system further includes combustion equipment (103) for burning the sludge so as to produce heat, and dryer equipment (104) for drying the purification residue with the aid of the produced heat. Hence, the sludge produced by the first purification equipment is used for producing heat for drying the purification residue which is produced by the reverse osmosis and/or nanofiltration technology and whose initial water content is so high that it is problematic to be disposed of without drying.

摘要: A semiconductor module includes a baseplate, a cover element attached to the baseplate so that detaching the cover element from the baseplate requires material deformations, and a semiconductor element in a room defined by the baseplate and the cover element. The semiconductor element is in a heat conductive relation with the baseplate and an outer surface of the baseplate is provided with laser machined grooves suitable for conducting heat transfer fluid. The laser machining makes it possible to make the grooves after the semiconductor module has been assembled. Therefore, regular commercially available semiconductor modules can be modified, with the laser machining, to semiconductor modules as disclosed.

摘要: An electrical drive includes an electrical machine, a first converter stage connected to terminals of stator phase-windings of the electrical machine, and a second converter stage connected to intermediate points of the stator phase-windings. A control device determines first component currents and second component currents so that torque is generated in accordance with electrical machine control and magnetic levitation force is directed to a rotor of the electrical machine in accordance with levitation control when portions of the phase-windings between the terminals and the intermediate points carry both the first and second component currents and the other portions of the phase-windings carry the first component currents. The reference currents for the first converter stage are determined based on the first and second component currents, and the reference currents for the second converter stage are determined based on the second component currents.

摘要: A rotor assembly for an axial magnetic bearing includes a shaft portion and a disc attached to the shaft portion. A fastening mechanism includes an aperture for the shaft portion so that the fastening mechanism includes a conical surface matching the conical surface of the disc. The fastening mechanism and the shaft portion are shaped to enable the fastening mechanism to be tightened axially against the conical surface of the disc so as to arrange the conical surface of the fastening mechanism to press the conical surface of the disc towards the center line of the shaft portion. Thus, the fastening mechanism acts against the centrifugal force and keeps the disc centric placed.
