    摘要: Provided are an opto-electric hybrid board and a manufacturing method therefor. The opto-electric hybrid board includes an optical waveguide unit and an electric circuit unit having an optical element mounted thereon, the electric circuit unit being coupled to the optical waveguide unit using coupling pins. The optical waveguide unit includes fitting holes for fitting the coupling pins thereinto, which are formed in a surface of an overcladding layer, located and formed at predetermined locations with respect to one end surface of a core. The electric circuit unit includes fitting through holes for fitting the coupling pins therethrough, located and formed at predetermined locations with respect to the optical element. The optical waveguide unit and the electric circuit unit are coupled to each other in a state in which the coupling pins fit through the fitting through holes and fit into the fitting holes.

    摘要: A drowsiness alarm system for a vehicle detects the driver's increasing state of drowsiness on a basis of abnormal steering change repetitions for a fixed period of time in a monotonous driving state defined, for example, as the gear shift lever being placed at an overdrive or top position. The alarm system produces an alarm to the driver to prevent the driver from increasing the state of drowsiness. The drowsiness alarm system according to the present invention comprises: (a) a steering signal generator which generates a signal corresponding to the change of an angle through which the steering wheel is rotated; (b) a monotonous driving-state detector which detects and signals that the vehicle is traveling in a monotonous driving state; (c) a discriminator which compares the change of steering signal level from said steering signal generator for a fixed period of time with a reference value; and (d) an alarm pulse generator which outputs an alarm pulse into an alarm circuit producing an alarm in response to the input alarm pulse when the output signal from the discriminator indicating the change of steering signal for the fixed period of time exceed the reference voltage.

The optical waveguide unit includes protruding portions which are extendingly provided at portions of at least one of the undercladding layer and the overcladding layer, and are located and formed at predetermined locations with respect to a light transmitting surface of a core. The electric circuit unit includes fitting holes into which the protruding portions fit, and are located and formed at predetermined locations with respect to the optical element.
