    摘要: Disclosed is a resin foam which excels in properties such as strength, flexibility, cushioning properties, and strain recovery, particularly has a cell structure resistant to shrinkage caused by the restoring force of the resin, and has a high expansion ratio.The cross-linked resin foam is obtained by heating a resin composition containing an elastomer, an active-energy-ray-curable compound, and a thermal crosslinking agent to form a cross-linked structure derived from the thermal crosslinking agent in the resin composition; subjecting the cross-linked-structure-containing resin composition to foam molding to give a foamed structure; and irradiating the foamed structure with an active energy ray to form another cross-linked structure derived from the active-energy-ray-curable compound to give the cross-linked resin foam.

    摘要: An acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition which contains a high molecular weight polymer, is excellent in cohesive force and adhesive strength and can be prepared without using an organic solvent. The acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is produced by a process which comprises radical-polymerizing monomers containing an alkyl (meth)acrylate using carbon dioxide as a diluent to thereby prepare a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition containing an acrylic polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 400,000 or more. The polymerization pressure ranges from, for example, about 5.7 to 40 MPa, AND the polymerization temperature ranges from, for example, about 20 to 100° C.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for producing a foamed pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet having a fine cell structure with a good production efficiency without through complicated steps are provided. The method comprises subjecting a mixture containing monomers of a polymer constituting a foamed pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to polymerization in an inert fluid in a supercritical state or a liquid state under pressure, and ejecting the polymerized composition obtained on a substrate under a pressure lower than the pressure in the polymerization to form a foamed pressure-sensitive adhesive layer applied on the substrate. The apparatus comprises a pressure vessel for polymerizing monomers of a polymer constituting a foamed pressure-sensitive adhesive layer under pressure, an inert fluid supplying means for supplying an inert fluid in a supercritical state or a liquid state to the pressure vessel, and an ejection means for ejecting the polymerized composition obtained by polymerizing the monomers.

    摘要: A novel methacrylic acid ester derivative, methyldi(trimethylsiloxy)sylylpropylglycerol methacrylate which is availably employed as a main monomer for preparing copolymers useful as a material of contact lenses. The derivative has siloxane bond which contributes to increase of the oxygen permeability of its copolymers, and has hydrophilic hydroxyl group and ether bond by which the derivative is miscible with a hydrophilic monomer in all proportions and is easily copolymerizable therewith and colorless transparent copolymers are obtained.

    摘要: Disclosed is a thermoplastic resin foam which excels typically in strength, flexibility, cushioning properties, and strain recovery and is especially resistant to cell structure shrinkage caused by the restoring force of resin.The thermoplastic resin foam which is obtained by subjecting a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic elastomer and an active-energy-ray-curable resin to foam molding to give a foamed structure, and irradiating the foamed structure with an active energy ray to allow the active-energy-ray-curable resin to form a cross-linked structure in the foamed structure. Also, the thermoplastic resin foam which is obtained by subjecting a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic elastomer, an active-energy-ray-curable resin, and a thermal cross-linking agent to foam molding to give a foamed structure, irradiating the foamed structure with an active energy ray to allow the active-energy-ray-curable resin to form a cross-linked structure in the foamed structure, and heating the resulting foamed structure bearing the cross-linked structure to thereby allow the thermal cross-linking agent to form another cross-linked structure in the foamed structure.
