Abstract:
The present invention provides an improved process for the preparation of Deferasirox of Formula-I substantially free from ‘hydrazino impurity’ by the condensation of 2-(2-hydrophenyl)-4H-1,3-benzoxazin-4-one of Formula-IV with 4-hydrazino benzoic acid of Formula-V in a polar solvent.

Abstract:
Generally discussed herein are systems and apparatuses that can include a base with one or more recesses therein. The disclosure also includes techniques of making and using the systems and apparatuses. According to an example a technique of making a releasable core panel can include providing a releasable core, the releasable core including a first conductive foil integrally coupled with a base at a first side of the base and a first side of the conductive foil, the first conductive foil situated in a first recess in the first side of the base. The technique can include releasably coupling a second conductive foil to a second side of the first conductive foil through a temporary adhesive layer integrally coupled to a first side of the second conductive foil, the second side of the first conductive foil opposite the first side of the first conductive foil.
Abstract:
An integrated circuit is provided having an active circuit. A heating element is adjacent to the active circuit and configured to heat the active circuit. A temperature sensor is also adjacent to the active circuit and configured to measure a temperature of the active circuit. A temperature controller is coupled to the active circuit and configured to receive a temperature signal from the temperature sensor. The temperature controller operates the heating element to heat the active circuit to maintain the temperature of the active circuit in a selected temperature range.
Abstract:
The thermal energy transfer techniques of the disclosed embodiments utilize passive thermal energy transfer techniques to reduce undesirable side effects of trapped thermal energy at the circuit level. The trapped thermal energy may be transferred through the circuit with thermally conductive structures or elements that may be produced as part of a standard integrated circuit process. The localized and passive removal of thermal energy achieved at the circuit level rather just at the package level is both more effective and more efficient.
Abstract:
The invention relates to method and structures for mobility policy e.g. in a Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access, WiMAX, based communication. According to embodiments, a method and devices for mobility control of a terminal are provided wherein a mobility policy parameter defines the mobility control of the terminal. The mobility policy parameter preferably is part of a mobility policy or subscription record stored for a subscriber of the terminal in a subscriber data base. The mobility policy parameter may include at least one of an indication of mobility restriction, possibly indicating included or excluded cells or areas etc; an indication of fixed access, indicating a fixed base station to which the subscriber has to request access; nomadicity, indicating that no handover is allowed for that particular subscriber; and restricted mobility limited to a group of base stations or areas. Embodiments allow to deploy mobile WiMAX for fixed access applications, enabling reuse of existing technology and further development towards full mobility.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to a device and a method for forming a precision temperature sensor switch with a Wheatstone bridge configuration of four resistors and a comparator. When the temperature sensor detects a temperature above a threshold, the switch will change states. The four resistors in the Wheatstone bridge have the same resistance, with three of the resistors having a low temperature coefficient of resistance and the fourth resistor having a high temperature coefficient of resistance. As the temperature increases, the resistance of the fourth resistor will change. The change in resistance of the fourth resistor will change a voltage across the bridge. The voltage across the bridge is coupled to the comparator and compares the voltage with the threshold temperature, such that when the threshold temperature is exceeded, the comparator switches the output off.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a service mediator provides a service that is a composite of atomic services and executes a recovery pattern in the event that a service is not available. More particularly, in an initial phase of operation, the service mediator determines one or more recovery patterns for each atomic service offered in the composite service and stores in a database an identity of each such recovery pattern for each atomic service. In subsequent operation, the service mediator monitors the availability of each atomic service. When a user inquires of a composite service, the service mediator determines if any of its atomic services is unavailable. If an atomic service is unavailable, the service mediator selects a recovery pattern and executes it.
Abstract:
A gas turbine includes at least one combustor and an exhaust frame; a compressor adapted to supply air to the combustor and to supply bleed air to the exhaust frame. A cooling air supply duct is arranged to supply ambient air to the exhaust frame and at least one ejector is. arranged to supply the bleed air to the cooling air supply duct upstream of the exhaust frame. A control valve is configured to control the supply of compressor bleed air to the cooling air supply duct and to the exhaust frame as a function of turbine exhaust temperature and/or turbine load conditions and cooling requirements at the various turbine load conditions.
