摘要: An integrated circuit (IC) card capable of a high-speed data transmission to/from a data transmission apparatus having low processing capability. A controlling section generates a data packet by adding management information including information regarding a data length of the data packet, and divides the data packet to generate data blocks. The data length of the data block is designated from the data transmission apparatus. When the data blocks which compose the single data packet are sent to the transmission apparatus a communicating section sends an interrupt signal to the data transmission apparatus if the data block including the management information is to be sent, and does not send the interrupt signal to the data transmission apparatus if a data block not including the management information is to be sent.

摘要: Two inverters (INV1, INV2) supply phase currents to three-phase coils (Y1, Y2). Although two phase currents must conventionally be measured and four current sensors are thus required, according to the present invention, the number of phase currents to be measured is reduced as a result of use of an observer for phase current estimation.

摘要: A scrambling system includes a scrambling apparatus and a descrambling apparatus for scrambling and descrambling digital audio codes having plural sub-band units. Each sub-band unit includes at least a scale factor and a quantized sample data which is quantized after scaling with the scale factor. In the scrambling apparatus, a sample period during which the quantized sample data is present is detected, and only the quantized sample data is scrambled at the sample period. In particular, the quantized sample data and data other than the quantized sample data are separated, and the separated quantized sample data is applied to a scrambler, and the other data is applied to a delay circuit. The separated and scrambled quantized sample data and the delayed data are synthesized. The descrambling apparatus also detects a sample period during which the quantized sample data is present, and descrambles only the scrambled quantized sample data at the sample period.

摘要: A scrambling system has a scrambling apparatus and a descrambling apparatus for scrambling and descrambling a digital audio signal having a plurality of 16-bit long sample data units. The scrambling apparatus has a detector for detecting, in each sample data unit, a meaningless portion which is a portion including the MSB and a meaningful portion which is a portion including the LSB, and applying scrambling only to the meaningful portion. Since the meaningless portion is not scrambled, no error data will appear in the meaningless portion. Thus, an unexpected abrupt change in sound caused by a bit error in the meaningless portion which has bits with greater weighted value can be avoided.

摘要: A nonvolatile memory device (101) includes a plurality of physical blocks, each of which is provide with a nonvolatile memory (103), a logic/physical address conversion table, a temporary block and a temporary table. The nonvolatile memory (103) includes a plurality of pages which are predetermined writing units, respectively. The logical-physical address conversion table (106) stores correspondence information between logic addresses and physical addresses of data to be stored in the physical blocks. The temporary block is a physical block to store data that are smaller in size than those of the page. The temporary table (107) stores correspondence information between logic addresses and physical addresses with respect to data to be stored in the temporary block.
