    摘要： Included are Gateway server GWS which clocks the precise present time, and portable phone MS which performs a packet communication through gateway server GWS and IP server W. Portable phone MS acquires the time information from gateway server GWS, at the time of starting communication with IP server W and corrects, on the basis of this time information, the clocking present time of its own portable phone MS so that it is more precise. In addition, portable phone MS decodes a public key certificate (an electronic certificate issued by Certificate Office C for the public key certificate of IP server W) using the public key of Certificate Office C. Then the portable phone MS judges whether it is within the validity period specified in the public key certificate, using the corrected present time of its own portable phone MS.

    摘要： The communication apparatus and browser switching method are capable of carrying out automatically an input of URL. A mobile device communicates with a server arranged in a network and has a first browser that processes and displays Web data acquired from the server, and a second browser that can process Web data that can not be processed by the first browser. In this mobile device, when a switching instruction is received from an operation part, a URL being a communication destination communicated with the first browser for communication is stored in a URL storage part. The read importance levels are compared by mobile phone 500, and if the importance level of the sender of the e-mail is higher, mobile phone 500 informs the user thereof that it has received the mail alert.
