摘要： A spring tooth chisel plow has its upper shank secured within a channel retainer pivotally mounted adjacent the rear edge of the retainer to a mounting bracket secured to a tool bar. The shank of the chisel plow is held within the channel retainer by a transverse clamping bar positioned radially from the main pivot, the forward end of the shank being fixed to the channel retainer. The upper surface of the retainer normally abuts a complementary surface on the mounting bracket, which supports an upwardly extending compression spring assembly. A tension bolt pivotally connects the forward end of the retainer to the upper end of the compression spring assembly, whereby force exerted on the chisel point of the plow is resisted by the compression spring assembly.

摘要： A tyre apparatus is provided, the apparatus including a tyre body for attachment to a wheel rim to define a first inflatable volume. An inner chamber defines a second inflatable volume which is located within the first inflatable volume of the tyre body. A first fluid communication path is provided between the first and second inflatable volumes and a second fluid communication path is provided between the first inflatable volume and the atmosphere. A first valve opens and closes the first fluid communication path, and a second valve opens and closes the second fluid communication path. The tensile strength and pressure-containing capacity of the material structure of the second inflatable volume is greater than that of the tyre first inflatable volume. A first fluid pressure within the first inflatable volume of the tyre body is optimisable by opening the first valve to allow pressure transfer from the second inflatable volume into the tyre body, and/or opening the second valve to allow pressure to vent from the tyre body to atmosphere. A vehicle wheel and active tyre pressure control system incorporating the tyre apparatus are also provided.

摘要： A latch assembly includes a chassis, a latch bolt moveably mounted on the chassis and having a closed position for retaining a striker and an open position for releasing the striker, a pawl having an engaged position at which the pawl is engaged with the latch bolt to hold the latch bolt in the closed position and a disengaged position at which the pawl is disengaged from the latch bolt, thereby allowing the latch bolt to move to the open position, an eccentric arrangement defining an eccentric axis and a pawl axis remote from the eccentric axis. The eccentric arrangement is rotatable about the eccentric axis, and the pawl is rotatable about the pawl axis. When the pawl moves from the engaged position to the disengaged position, the eccentric arrangement rotates in one of a clockwise and a counter-clockwise direction about the eccentric axis. With the pawl in the engaged position, a force applied to the pawl by the latch bolt creates a turning moment on the eccentric arrangement in the one of the clockwise and counter-clockwise direction, and the eccentric arrangement is prevented from rotating in said one of the clockwise and counter-clockwise direction by a moveable abutment.

摘要： The present invention is directed towards a dental bur storage device having a plurality of dental bur receiving holes capable of retaining a plurality of different dental bur types having different shank diameters, wherein, each of the plurality of dental bur receiving holes is tapered to allow a retaining fit to be established with any one of the plurality of different dental bur types having different shank diameters. The advantage of using a receiving hole that has a tapered form is that different types of dental burs having different diameters of shanks may be retained by the receiving holes in the dental bur storage device. This allows a wide range of different brands and different types of dental burs to be accommodated on one single dental bur storage device which greatly simplifies the process of selecting a dental bur for a dentist, particularly during a dental treatment. As the receiving hole is tapered, bur shanks of varying dimensions will be received to different depths within the receiving hole to a point where the receiving hole tapers to a diameter substantially equal to the diameter of the shank of the dental bur being received. Moreover, using this type of receiving hole, positive retention of a dental bur may be achieved when the dental bur storage device is handled roughly or inverted.

摘要： A latch assembly includes a chassis and a rotatable claw-type latch bolt moveably mounted on the chassis. The latch bolt has a closed position for retaining a striker and an open position for releasing the striker. The latch bolt is provided with a latch abutment remote from a center of rotation. The latch assembly further includes a pawl rotatable about a pawl axis and having an engaged position for holding the latch bolt in the closed position and a disengaged position that allows the latch bolt to move to the open position. The latch assembly includes an eccentric arrangement defining a first axis and the pawl axis remote from the first axis. The latch assembly also includes a reset lever rotatably fixed to the eccentric arrangement for mutual rotation with the eccentric arrangement about the first axis. The latch assembly includes a biasing lever configured to transmit a biasing force to the reset lever at a position remote from the first axis and to the latch bolt via the latch abutment. The latch assembly includes a biasing device arranged to apply the biasing force to the biasing lever. The latch assembly is configured such that when the pawl retains the latch bolt in the closed position, the biasing lever applies a force to the reset lever to promote disengagement of the pawl, and such that when the pawl is disengaged, the biasing lever promotes the rotation of the latch bolt into the open position.
