    摘要: In a multiphase output oscillator a number of serially coupled oscillator circuits is organized in a loop. Each particular oscillator circuit is coupled to its serial successor in the loop, to provide adjustment of the phase of an oscillation signal of the successor oscillator circuit dependent upon a difference between the phase of the oscillation signal in the successor and the phase of an oscillation signal in the particular oscillator circuit. None of the oscillator circuits will oscillate freely: as each oscillator will adjust its successor all the way around the loop. Indirectly, each oscillator circuit thus influences all of the other oscillator circuits and ultimately over itself. The multiphase output oscillator as a whole will oscillate in a collective mode of oscillation wherein all oscillator circuits oscillate at the same frequency. Successive oscillator circuits along the loop will oscillate at respective fractions of the full oscillation period delayed from each other. These fractions will add up to an integer multiple of periods. The frequency of oscillation is substantially independent of the fractions and may be nearly the maximum attainable frequency of the individual oscillator circuits.

The body effect in the transistors (T1, T2) is compensated for by an equally large body effect in the transistors (T3, T4).

    摘要: An image sensor device comprising a semiconductor substrate having a number of surface-adjoining channel regions. The channel regions are separated from each other by surface-adjoining channel separation zones. The channel regions further adjoin an underlying semiconductor zone extending substantially parallel to the surface. The channel regions have doping concentrations which exceed that of the semiconductor zone. The semiconductor zone has a dopant concentration which exceeds the dopant concentration of the semiconductor substrate. The semiconductor zone has a varying thickness which has minima at the areas of the centers of the channel regions. In such an image sensor device, a potential distribution can be obtained which strongly suppresses blooming realized at right angles to the surface that the occurrence of blooming is strongly suppressed. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing this image sensor device.

    摘要: An oscillator circuit contains a switching circuit which periodically charges and discharges a capacitive node. The capacitive node is coupled to the input of the switching circuit via a loop circuit, so that signal transitions at the capacitive node travel through the loop circuit and cause new transitions. The oscillator contains a power supply current source and a mode breaker circuit which function to stabilize the oscillating frequency and to suppress spurious modes of operation, respectively. The mode breaker circuit contains a conduction path which is used to frustrate charging of the capacitive nodes in certain spurious signal configurations. To prevent the mode breaking function from interference between the stabilizing function, the mode breaker circuit is arranged so that it blocks the conduction path during the critical time-intervals when the loop operates in a desired mode.

    摘要: A delay line, especially for delaying t.v. signals, includes a series of signal storage capacitances, an input line, an output line, selection transistors between the storage capacitances and the input and output lines and a digital shift register for activating the selection transistors. According to the invention, the output line comprises a central part, on either side of which signal storage capacitances with associated selection transistors are located, which in turn are located between the central part of the output line and the associated parts of the shift register. The design according to the invention results in a compact configuration, which has the advantage that the parasitic capacitance of the output line is comparatively low. The configuration can be readily extended to two interlaced delay lines having a single common shift register.
