    Abstract: A vehicle control device in a vehicle performing autonomous driving without monitoring responsibility is provided. The vehicle control device is configured to identify a situation of the vehicle and make a notification to the inside of a compartment of the vehicle. The vehicle control device identifies, as the situation of the vehicle, a first waiting situation where an automatic lane change which was started has to be interrupted in the middle and waited during the autonomous driving without monitoring responsibility. In a case where the first waiting situation is identified, the vehicle control device makes a notification to notify of a waiting state in which the vehicle interrupts the lane change in the middle and is waiting.

    Abstract: An automated drive control device that enables traveling of a subject vehicle by an automated driving function is provided. The automated drive control device is configured to determine whether an elapsed time after the stop exceeds a predetermined time when the subject vehicle that has been traveling by autonomous traveling control in which a driver of the subject vehicle is not obliged to monitor periphery stops due to congestion, cause an input by the driver to not be required for resuming the traveling of the subject vehicle when the elapsed time does not exceed the predetermined time, and resume the traveling of the subject vehicle on a basis of an input by the driver when the elapsed time exceeds the predetermined time.

    Abstract: A vehicle control technique is used for execution of an automated driving of a vehicle. The automated driving is a control for autonomously driving the vehicle based on an output signal of an outside-monitoring sensor. In the vehicle control technique, it is predicted whether a detection capability of the outside-monitoring sensor falls below a required level within a prediction time period from a current time based on a history of the output signal of the outside-monitoring sensor or dynamic map data related to a road section through which the vehicle is scheduled to pass. The required level corresponds to a performance quality of the outside-monitoring sensor required to continue the automated driving. A predetermined temporary control is started during the automated driving based on a fact that the detection capability is predicted to fall below the required level within the prediction time period.

    Abstract: A control unit performs switching control, in automatic driving of a vehicle, between a first automatic driving state of an automatic driving level 2 or lower with manual driving or surrounding monitoring obligation, and a second automatic driving state of an automatic driving level 4 or higher with no surrounding monitoring obligation and allowing sleep, depending on a road on which the vehicle travels. When the control unit determines that a driver is in an asleep state based on a detection result of a detection unit in the second automatic driving state, the control unit performs acceleration control to adjust second vehicle speed in the second automatic driving state to be higher than first vehicle speed in the first automatic driving state, equal to the first vehicle speed, or lower than the first vehicle speed and higher than the second vehicle speed in a current state.
