摘要: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and apparatus that includes obtaining, by a dosimetry computing device, sensor readings from at least one sensor. An event is identified, by the dosimetry computing device, based on at least one of one or more of the obtained sensor readings or one or more determinations based on the obtained sensor readings meeting one or more selection. At least one of the one or more determinations or the sensor readings which meet one or more of the selection criteria when the event is identified is stored by the dosimetry computing device.

摘要: Apparatus, system and method for medical analysis of a seated individual, includes determining the aortic valve opening; the PTT; and calculating the PWV. Determining the aortic valve opening includes collecting BCG data while sitting on a seat and determining the timing of the aortic valve opening, taking into account posture. Measuring the aortic pulse wave transit time includes collecting BCG data while sitting on a seat capable of measuring changes in apparent weight; determining the timing of the aortic valve opening; detecting the arrival of the pulse wave at the end point; and measuring the relative timings of the two events. Calculating the PWV includes determining a length of the arterial segment through which a pulse wave is to be measured between a start point and an end point; and dividing the determined length of the arterial segment by the PTT.

摘要: A noninvasive method for monitoring the blood pressure and arterial compliance of a patient based on measurements of a flow velocity and a pulse wave velocity is described. An embodiment uses a photoplethysmograph and includes a method to monitor the dynamic behavior of the arterial blood flow, coupled with a hemodynamic mathematical model of the arterial blood flow motion in a fully nonlinear vessel. A derived mathematical model creates the patient specific dependence of a blood pressure versus PWV and blood velocity, which allows continuous monitoring of arterial blood pressure.

摘要: The present invention relates to an in vivo method of monitoring an analyte in a subject. This method involves providing an expression vector that encodes a biosensor molecule, the biosensor molecule comprising an analyte binding domain and a signal domain. The biosensor molecule produces a signal from the signal domain upon binding of the analyte by the analyte binding domain. The signal is detectable by a non-invasive means. The expression vector is introduced locally into in vivo cells of a subject under conditions effective to express the biosensor molecule in the cells. The signal from the expressed biosensor molecule is detected by a non-invasive means, thereby monitoring the analyte in the subject in vivo.

摘要: An integrated bioinstrumentation system, combining an accurate and robust quasi 1D computational model with experimental peripheral measurements, is designed to extract information on other quantities of interest, for which the direct measurements are not feasible. The system is able to quantify and visualize the distributions of a cardiac output (CO), aortic blood pressure (BP), flow, velocity, and aortic arterial compliance, based on a peripheral analysis of a pulse transit time (PTT) measured at the available peripheral sites. A preliminary calibration stage extracts the arterial properties from simultaneous measurements of a pulse transit time, and an upper arm blood pressure. Obtained transfer functions, linking noninvasive peripheral measurements to the aortic pressure, cardiac output, aortic compliance and others serve to quantify the indicators of cardiac morbidity and mortality.

摘要: Material properties are manipulated using rapid pulse application of energy in combination with applied electric or magnetic fields. When sintering, annealing or crystallizing a target film, the pulse repetition cycle can be constrained to ensure material temperature rises above and falls below the Curie temperature before the next energy pulse. This process results in enhanced material properties as compared to traditional techniques having a single, slow temperature excursion and subsequent application of the applied external field.
