    摘要: A process is described for producing ethylene and propylene in high selectivity from feed streams containing ethane and propane. The process involves separating the feed into ethane and propane fractions and subsequently cracking the ethane fraction to produce ethylene and dehydrogenating the propane fraction to produce propylene. The fractions are then combined and purified, and the ethylene and propylene products are recovered. Any unreacted ethane or propane is recycled back to the cracking or dehydrogenation units respectively.

    摘要: An adaptive vision based controller for controlling a robot arm comprises a camera, a segmenter for analyzing images from the camera, a tracker, sketcher and ranger responsive to information from the segmenter for creating a three dimensional segmented data list, a recognizer for receiving the data list and comparing data in the list against a database of plausible objects, and a planner interactive with the recognizer and responsive to task definitions for developing control outputs. The recognizer uses scenic information such as feature maps produced by the segmenter in conjunction with a knowledge base to construct a world model. The planner uses the world model and the task definitions to construct a plan in the form of a set of actions for accomplishing the defined task. By way of the control system, information about how the robot arm is actually performing a task can be compared with the desired task and the task can be updated if necessary. Thus the controller provides visual feed back control of the task performed by the robot arm.

    摘要: Quadrature phase signals (I and Q) from a pulsed Doppler medical instrument are analyzed to detect phase changes of consecutive echoes from tissue at a depth of interest. Such phase changes are analyzed to determine tissue displacement. Relative displacements at different depths are examined to detect tissue expansion and contraction. The area of the uterus of a pregnant female can be scanned and the frequency of tissue displacement or expansion and contraction examined to determine pulsations due to blood supplied by the fetal heart and/or pulsations due to blood supplied by the maternal heart. Conventional M-mode or B-mode images can be colorized differently for different frequencies of tissue displacement.

    摘要: A door panel includes a support having a formed area with opposing spaced apart structures and an elongated reinforcement spanning between the opposing spaced apart structures and spaced from the formed area. A flexible cover is positioned on the support including a main panel section covering the support and covering the formed area, and a second panel section wrapped around the reinforcement for covering the reinforcement to form a handle on the door panel. As molded, the flexible cover includes inner, middle, and outer panel sections that are spaced apart to facilitate molding. The outer panel section is convexly shaped and can be inverted so that it abuts the middle panel section. The door panel is constructed by positioning the flexible cover on the support, and flexing the outer panel section inwardly so that a handle-covering portion of the flexible cover completely surrounds the reinforcement. Thereafter, the flexible cover is RF welded so that the reinforcement is covered and so that a portion of the flexible cover can be removed to form an opening under the handle. Then, flexible foam is injected between the support and the flexible cover. Modifications are disclosed wherein the support is constructed from a smaller support section attached to a larger support section, wherein a rigid foam forms the entire support, and wherein the reinforcement is a loop of stiff material attached to a support.
