The present invention relates to a method for producing low-ash poultry plasma protein powder by utilizing poultry blood. Specifically, the method of the present invention comprises the steps of: mixing the poultry blood with an anticoagulant to obtain anticoagulated whole blood; centrifugally separating the anticoagulated whole blood to obtain plasma liquid; de-calcifying the plasma liquid via a precipitation reaction, ultra-filtrating the plasma liquid via a ultra-filtration membrane, emulsifying, and nano-filtrating to obtain the concentrated plasma liquid; and drying the concentrated plasma liquid to obtain the poultry plasma protein powder. The method of the present invention effectively overcomes the defect of difficult poultry blood deep processing, achieves the recycling of poultry blood resource, avoids wasting resources, and reduces environmental pollution; and the produced plasma protein powder has the advantages of high protein content, good palatability, balanced amino acid and the like.

A method of biotechnological production of a bovine hemoderivative comprising the steps of: freshly acquired animal blood matter is first fermented in several phases, the blood fermentation product obtained is dried, the dried fermentation product is separated, which is followed by ethanol extraction of the blood fermentation product in several phases, the blood fermentation product is then subjected to vacuum inspissation with subsequent stabilization after undesirable substances have been removed. The condensed extract is processed with etheric preparation during which the condensed blood fermentation product is subjected to ether precipitation, and the precipitate, thus obtained is separated from the solution of undesirable substances soluble in ether.

Powdered deer blood, preferably that of a stag, can be produced by mixing deer blood and ethanol, freezing the mixture of deer blood and ethanol to form a frozen mixture, freeze-drying the frozen mixture to form a freeze-dried mixture, heating the freeze-dried mixture, reducing the temperature of the heated mixture to form a dried product having a red-brown color; and then grinding the dried product to a powder.

A substantially heme-free blood protein product is produced by adding an acid to a blood cell suspension to a low pH to disrupt erythrocytes present in the suspension thereby releasing hemoglobin, and to cleave off the heme moiety from the major proportion of the hemoglobin. The released heme forms a precipitate which is removed by centrifugation. Heme moieties remaining in the blood protein solution are degraded by treatment with an oxidizing agent, e.g. hydrogen peroxide. The product has a content of sulfur-containing amino acids which corresponds to the content thereof in natural hemoglobin, as well as foaming and emulsifying properties corresponding to naural hemoglobin. The product has a high lysine content and may be used to enrich the protein content of edible products, e.g. cereals, or to replace part of the meat in meat products. An edible product containing up to about 25% by weight of blood plasma mixed with the product is also disclosed. The product is also useful as a foaming agent, emulsifying agent or additive in chemical industrial products.

The present invention relates to a method for preparation of plasma powder characterized by catalytic treatment of plasma with colloidal silica and subsequent powdering of the plasma. The plasma powder thus obtained by the present invention is substantially free of malodorous substances.

There is disclosed an improved process for producing high purity antihemophilic factor concentrate from an antihemophilic factor-containing dispersion or solution isolated from blood plasma or a blood plasma fraction, wherein the improvement is in carrying-out two consecutive precipitations using a combination of precipitants in each precipitation, first a combination of 1-4% by weight, based on weight of solution, of polyethylene glycol and 0.1-0.2 ml of 1-3%, based on weight of suspension, aluminum hydroxide suspension per gram of protein in the starting dispersion or solution, followed by a combination of added polyethylene glycol to provide a final concentration of 9-13% by weight, based on weight of the resulting solution, and 10-20% by weight of glycine, based on weight of the polyethylene glycol solution, and 10-20% by weight, based on weight of the polyethylene glycol solution, of sodium chloride.

The invention relates to a method of dividing blood hemoglobin into heme and globin by suspending blood cells, separated from blood, in an acid aqueous solution, by precipitating the heme by means of carboxymethyl cellulose, and by separating the precipitated heme-CMC complex out from the aqueous solution of globin. The obtained heme-CMC complex can be used as such as raw material for the preparation of medicinal iron supplements, and the globin fraction can be used as an additive in fodder or food.

Total or fractional precipitation of proteins from salt-containing proteinaceous solution or suspension mixtures is induced or enhanced by subjecting the proteinaceous mixture to a desalting treatment, for example, by electrodialysis. In one aspect of the invention, the desalting treatment is used in conjunction with the addition of heavy metal ions to the proteinaceous mixture to provide a synergistic effect on the precipitation of the protein fraction. In another aspect of the invention, the desalting treatment, either with or without the heavy metal ion addition, is employed as an integral part of a selective plasmapheresis procedure for the removal or recovery of one or more selected plasma proteins from blood plasma.
摘要:
A process is described for the selective recovery and/or concentration of a protein or a class of proteins from fermentation broth employing a combination of desalting and pH adjustment thereby causing the initial precipitation of unwanted proteins, again subjecting the resulting supernatant to another set of pH adjustment and desalting to cause the protein of interest to precipitate thereby obtaining a highly enriched fraction of the selected protein. Such a process will find use in the specific recovery of genetically engineered proteins from fermentation broths, e.g. interferon, insulin, growth hormone, etc.
