    摘要: The present invention is directed to a process for the preparation of foam-containing polyurethane (urea) masses comprising reacting an isocyanate prepolymer containing cation groups with water in the presence of fillers. The isocyanate prepolymer is prepared by first i) reacting a polyisocyanate with a first polyol which contains partly or completely quaternized tertiary nitrogen, said polyol being prepared by reacting a tertiary amine containing compound with from 3 to 8 moles of propylene oxide per mol of nitrogen to thereby form a semi-isocyanate prepolymer and then ii) reacting said semi-isocyanate prepolymer with a second polyol different from said first polyol, to form said isocyanate prepolymer.

    摘要: Flexible polyurethane foams having increased compression hardness are produced by reacting an organic polyisocyanate with a mixture of polyols in the presence of a blowing agent and optionally known additives such as catalysts, emulsifiers, etc. The mixture of polyols is (1) 75-95 wt % polyether polyol with terminal OH groups having a functionality of from 2 to 4 and an OH number of from 25 to 60 and (2) 5-25 wt % polyether polyol having a functionality of at least six and an OH number of from 150 to 200 which is the reaction product of an alcohol having a functionality of at least six and propylene oxide which has been modified to contain 5-50 wt % terminal ethylene oxide groups. These foams are useful in furniture applications.

    摘要: The instant invention is directed to stable dispersions and the process of their manufacture. The stable dispersions of the instant invention comprise polyureas and/or polyhydrazo-dicarbonamides as the disperse phase in an hydroxyl group containing material selected from the group consisting of polyethers, polyesters, polyester amides, polycarbonates, and mixtures thereof, and are produced by reacting (1) organic polyisocyanates with (2) polyamines containing primary and/or secondary amino groups and/or hydrazines and/or hydrazides in (3) the hydroxyl group containing material. Component (3) may also contain relatively low molecular weight polyols and/or inert organic solvents. Components (1), (2) and (3) are continuously introduced into a flow mixer in such a quantity that the average residence time in the mixer is less than ten minutes.
