    摘要: There is provided a method for fueling a diesel engine having a particulate filter in its exhaust system. The method comprises supplying a main fuel injection to generate a desired torque. It also comprises additionally supplying a first post fuel injection after the main fuel injection and a second post fuel injection after the first post fuel injection during a higher engine load condition. The method further comprises continuing to supply the main fuel injection and the first post fuel injection and stopping to supply the second post fuel injection during a lower engine load condition, if a vehicle cruise control is performed. Therefore, a noticeable torque disturbance can be eliminated.

    摘要: A diesel engine for a vehicle comprises an engine body mounted in the vehicle having a plurality of cylinders that is supplied with fuel, a plurality of fuel injection valves for directly injecting the fuel into the cylinders, and an injection control module for controlling a mode of injecting the fuel into the cylinders through the fuel injection valves. The injection control module sets a fuel injection amount per cylinder at least according to a load on the engine body, performs a main injection, and performs at least one pre-injection where fuel is injected prior to the main injection. The injection control module further executes a cylinder-cutoff operation mode where the fuel supplies to the cylinder or the cylinders are stopped when the engine body is under a low load condition where the fuel injection amount per cylinder is below a predetermined amount.

    摘要: The process for producing an oleaginous composition of the present invention comprises transesterifying a fat containing a large amount of polybasic unsaturated fatty acid(s) as constituting fatty acid(s) with saturated fatty acid(s) and/or saturated fatty acid alcohol ester(s) with the use of a lipase having an site-specificity to thereby give symmetric triglyceride(s) wherein the fatty acid groups at the 1- and 3-positions are selectively transesterified and a polybasic unsaturated fatty acid group is present at the 2-position. The above transesterification should be carried out under such conditions as to give an oleaginous composition which comprises 40% or more of symmetric triglyceride(s) each having a polybasic unsaturated fatty acid group at the 2-position and 50% or more of completely saturated fatty acid(s) each having 16 or more carbon atoms.

    摘要: An oil pressure control apparatus for a valve driving system for an internal combustion engine, in which a main oil supply passage feeds oil to a hydraulic actuator of the engine valve driving apparatus. A control valve is provided for closing the oil supply passage. A bypass oil passage bypasses the control valve continuously. The control valve, when closed, regulates the oil pressure to below a predetermined value and the oil pressure is insufficient to actuate the hydraulic actuator. When the control valve is opened, responsive to an engine operating condition such as engine speed, oil pressure is above the predetermined value, and the hydraulic actuator is actuated rapidly to shift the valve driving system from low speed to high speed operation.
