A method and a device for reconstructing the sequence of processes of a control program executed by a computing device, in particular a microprocessor, from the contents of a first table and a second table. The control program is subdivided into a plurality of tasks, and each task has at least one process. During execution of the control program, for each completed task, an identifier for a process last executed before the start of the completed task is stored in the first table. The order of the respective completed tasks is stored in the second table. To reliably reconstruct the process sequence, the method and device involve the following. At first, from the contents of the first table and the second table, a third table is generated which contains, for each new task, the identifier for a process last executed before the start of the new task, and the complete process sequence of the control program is then reconstructed from the third table with the knowledge of the process sequence of the individual tasks.

A method and a control unit for controlling technical procedures, particularly in a motor vehicle. In the method, a control program of a computing element, particularly a microprocessor, is processed. The control program is subdivided into several tasks and each task is subdivided into several processes. The tasks are processed in a cooperative mode or in a preemptive mode. After the processing of the control program, in order to make possible a simulation as close to reality as possible, particularly an offline open loop simulation, it is proposed that the process sequence be stored during the processing of the control program. Preferably, before the processing of the control program, a unique identifier is assigned to each process, and, during the processing of the control program, only the identifier of the processed process most recently processed before the beginning of a finished task is stored.

The second determination includes an adjustment device with the help of which the variation over time of the characteristic quantities is adjusted to the vehicle's behavior. In a method for determining the lateral acceleration of a motor vehicle, the lateral acceleration is calculated from signals of a wheel sensor and a load sensor. Since in many cases these sensors are already present on the vehicle, e.g., for chassis control, additional sensors are not necessary. The values for the lateral acceleration thus ascertained may then be used in further devices, such as for a vehicle dynamics controller or a device for preventing tipping. For example, usable as a load sensor in the case of a pneumatic suspension is also a pressure sensor which measures the pressure within the pressure bellows of the pneumatic suspension and supplies a signal, corresponding to the mass or the axle load, to the control. The lateral acceleration may be determined with the aid of a steering-angle sensor.
