    摘要： The photopolymerizable composition described containsA) at least one ethylenically unsaturated photopolymerizable compound,B) a photoinitiator of the formula I ##STR1## and C) a photosensitizer from the group of aromatic carbonyl compounds having a triplet energy of 225-310 kJ/mol, for example xanthones, thioxanthones, coumarins, phthalimides, phenones and the like.Ar is phenyl substituted in the 4-position by a substituted amino group, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are alkyl, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are alkyl or alkoxyalkyl, or R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 together are 3-oxapentamethylene. Said sensitizers C) raise the activity of said photoinitiators (B) without shortening the shelf life of the mixtures. The photocurable mixtures are used especially as binders for printing inks or paints.

    摘要： Cationically polymerizable compounds, for example epoxide compounds, can be polymerized photochemically using a catalyst combination consisting of an aromatic iodonium salt and a ketone of the formula I, II or III ##STR1## in which n is 1 or 2 and Ar, X, X', R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are as defined in claim 1. In this combination, the ketones act as a co-catalyst and drastically accelerate the photopolymerization, although they are not able to initiate a cationic photopolymerization on their own.

    摘要： Quinolinium sulfonates of the formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl substituted by halogen, hydroxyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, or it is C.sub.2 -C.sub.8 -alkenyl, C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 -phenylalkyl or C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 independently of one another are each hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, halogen, --CN, --COO(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl), --CHO, hydroxyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, an acyloxy group R.sup.7 COO--, a group R.sup.8 --CH.dbd.CH--, C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 -phenylalkyl or phenyl, R.sup.6 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 -aryl which is unsubstituted or mono- or polysubstituted by C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, halogen or a group R.sup.7 CONH--, or it is fluorine, NH.sub.2 or CF.sub.3, and R.sup.7 and R.sup.8 independently of one another are each C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or phenyl, are suitable as latent curing catalysts for acid-curable stoving lacquers.
