Abstract:
Systems and methods for providing functional extensions on a landing page of a creative. The method includes identifying, by a data processing system, a creative for serving on a computing device. The creative can be associated with a network address of a landing page. The method also includes generating, by the data processing system, an actionable object, such as a functional extension, to be rendered with content of the landing page and providing, by the data processing system, the actionable object to be rendered with the content of the landing page responsive to an action taken on the creative when served on the computing device. Examples of functional extensions include click-to-call extensions and directions extensions.
Abstract:
Systems and methods include receiving an indication of a hardware or software configuration of a client device. Content associated with a downloadable application is identified by matching installation requirements for the application to the hardware or software configuration of the device.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for suggesting a bid adjustment value based on device type include receiving parameters for a third-party content provider's campaign to present third-party content on a first type of device. Based on the campaign's parameters, bids from peer providers that use similar campaign parameters for both the first type of device and another type of device may be identified. For example, bids from providers that use similar parameters as the campaign for both mobile and desktop devices may be identified. The identified bids from the peer providers may be used to calculate a bid adjustment value. The bid adjustment value can be provided for presentation to the third-party content provider as a suggested change to his or her bid for the first type of device, to establish a bid for the second type of device.
Abstract:
Multi-computing device network based cross-device conversion determination is described. A content selection computer server can identify cross-device conversions. A first computing device accesses third-party content via a first computer network connection. A second computing device accesses a webpage of the third-party content provider via a second computer network connection. The first and devices can be logged into a same online account. The content selection computer server can obtain, via a content tag that includes a script that executes on a webpage that includes the third-party content, data indicating that the first computing device accessed the third-party content. The selection computer server determines the conversion from the content tag and the second computing device having accessed the webpage. Based on a percentage of first and second sets of computing devices that have logged into common respective online accounts, the content selection computer server extrapolates an estimated number of cross-device conversions.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatus include computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage medium, including a method for updating campaigns. A content sponsor is identified that has one or more campaigns for presenting content to users. A prompt is provided to the content sponsor to provide one or both of conversion value information or estimates for one or more conversion actions, the estimates being for actions that are currently unable to be directly measured. The estimates are received. Rates for conversions are determined for each of the one or more conversion actions, including using the estimates and interaction data associated with the one or more campaigns to determine the rates. The determined rates are used to make a suggestion or automatically adjust one or more parameters associated with the one or more campaigns.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for detecting and utilizing conversion data are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes receiving an indication of a user interaction with an advertisement presented at a user device; receiving a user identifier corresponding to the user device; determining that the first application was installed on the user device, based at least in part on a device identifier of the user device being received with installation data corresponding to the installation; receiving, from a second application installed on the user device, (1) the user identifier and (2) the device identifier of the user device; determining, based on receipt of the user identifier and device identifier from the second application that the installation of the first application is attributable to the user interaction.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for optimizing digital components. In one aspect, the system includes a digital component server that identifies a digital component to be presented in an electronic document. The system also includes a digital component distribution server that interacts with the digital component server to determine that the electronic document includes a particular item that identifies a same entity as the digital component that was identified to be presented in the electronic document. The system combines at least a portion of the digital component with content from the particular item to form an optimized digital component. The optimized digital component is integrated into the electronic document rather than presenting either of the particular item or the digital component individually.

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for detecting and utilizing conversion data are disclosed. In one aspect, the system can receive an indication of a user interaction with content item presented at a user device. Based at least in part on a device identifier of the user device being received with installation data corresponding to the installation of an application, the system can attribute a conversion of the content item to the user interaction.

Abstract:
Systems and methods for cross-device conversion estimates determine an observed number of cross-device conversions based on different sets of devices being logged into the same online accounts. The observed cross-device conversions are extrapolated out based on a percentage of one set of devices having logged into the same accounts as the second set of devices.
