The invention relates to proteins comprising serine protease inhibiting peptides, such as Kunitz domain peptides (including, but not limited to, fragments and variants thereof) fused to albumin, or fragments or variants thereof. These fusion proteins are herein collectively referred to as “albumin fusion proteins of the invention.” These fusion proteins exhibit extended shelf-life and/or extended or therapeutic activity in solution. The invention encompasses, therapeutic albumin fusion proteins, compositions, pharmaceutical compositions, formulations and kits. The invention also encompasses nucleic acid molecules encoding the albumin fusion proteins of the invention, as well as vectors containing these nucleic acids, host cells transformed with these nucleic acids and vectors, and methods of making the albumin fusion proteins of the invention using these nucleic acids, vectors, and/or host cells. The invention also relates to compositions and methods for inhibiting neutrophil elastase, kallikrein, and plasmin. The invention further relates to compositions and methods for treating cystic fibrosis and cancer.

A plurality of power control actuation circuits is also provided, where each power control actuation circuit is coupled to one of the first three terminal devices and the second three terminal devices.

The present invention discloses a distributed power amplifier topology and device that efficiently and economically enhances the power output of an RF signal to be amplified. The power amplifier comprises a plurality of push-pull amplifiers interconnected in a novel circular geometry that preferably function as a first winding of an active transformer having signal inputs of adjacent amplification devices driven with an input signal of equal magnitude and opposite phase. The topology also discloses the use of a secondary winding that matches the geometry of primary winding and variations thereof that serve to efficiently combine the power of the individual power amplifiers. The novel architecture enables the design of low-cost, fully-integrated, high-power amplifiers in the RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave frequencies.

A device having a radio front end is provided. The radio front end includes an inductor having a first end and a second end. A capacitor having a first end and a second end is connected to the second end of the inductor. An antenna is connected to the second end of the inductor and the second end of the capacitor. A first switch is connected to the first end of the inductor and the first end of the capacitor, wherein the inductor and capacitor form a resonant circuit when the first switch is closed. A second switch is connected to the resonant circuit, the second switch connecting the resonant circuit to ground through a low impedance when the first switch is closed. A third switch is connected to a transmit power amplifier connecting the transmit power amplifier to ground through a low impedance when the first switch is closed.

The direct division modulator includes a symbol mapper converting the input data from a binary bitstream to a desired frequency deviation, such as where the frequency deviation data encodes the information from the bitstream. A converter generates a divide value using the desired frequency deviation information, and a summer adds an average value to the divide value. A converter quantizes the divide value and shapes quantization noise associated with the quantized divide value. A divider modulates a reference signal with the quantized divide value and generates an output signal.
