The printing plate is comprised of a hydrophilic support and a thin layer of a negative working light-sensitive composition on the support. 摘要： A negative working light-sensitive lithographic plate requiring no dampening solution and a plate making process are described, the negative working light-sensitive lithographic plate comprising a support having, in sequence, on said support, (A) a light-sensitive layer containing (1) an o-quinonediazide compound and (2) a coupling component which causes a diazo coupling reaction under a basic environment, and (B) a silicone rubber layer, and the plate making process comprising imagewise exposing the negative working light-sensitive lithographic plate and developing said exposed plate to obtain a lithographic plate requiring no dampening solution, wherein a step of processing with base is carried out after imagewise exposure.

摘要： A development method which comprises imagewise exposing a positive acting light-sensitive planographic printing plate comprising an aluminum support and a light-sensitive layer of an o-quinonediazide compound formed thereon, and then developing the exposed plate with a developer, comprising an aqueous solution of an alkali metal silicate, adding a supplementary solution comprising an aqueous solution of an alkali metal silicate to the developer to compensate for the degradation of the developer brought about by development and/or by carbon dioxide in the air; wherein the developer comprises an aqueous solution of an alkali metal salt having an [SiO.sub.2 ]/[M] ratio of from 0.5 to 0.75 and an SiO.sub.2 concentration of from 1 to 4% by weight based on the total weight of the developer, where [SiO.sub.2 ] represents the concentration of SiO.sub.2 per unit volume expressed as gram-molecules, and [M] represents the concentration of the alkali metal per unit volume expressed as gram-atoms, and the supplementary solution comprises an aqueous solution of an alkali metal silicate having an [SiO.sub.2 ]/[M] ratio of from 0.25 to 0.75.

摘要： There are provided a light source device and a display device which do not generate a wrinkle on an optical sheet even if the optical sheet is held on an LED substrate. A reflection sheet is disposed between each of head portions possessed by a rivet, a positioning rivet and a support rivet and one surface of an LED substrate where an LED is mounted, and a gap in a direction of a sheet thickness is provided between the head portion of each of the rivets and the reflection sheet. In the case in which a sudden thermal change is caused, therefore, the reflection sheet expands or contracts between the head portion of each of the rivets and the reflection sheet so that the wrinkle can be prevented from being generated over the reflection sheet.
