摘要: A display apparatus provided with display cells wherein LEDs are arranged in dot-like array within a case and molded by a mold portion within the case, and a unit portion accommodating therein a cell substrate on which the display cells are mounted. Further, there are provided ventilation holes formed so as to penetrate the display cells at prescribed positions in a direction from rear to front, a fan which is provided in an upper part of a rear surface of the unit portion can send cooling air into the unit portion and an opening portion formed at a bottom surface of the unit portion, thereby making it possible to discharge the cooling air sent by the fan to outside from the ventilation holes through the opening portion. Further, a penthouse unit is provided in front of the display cells and the cooling air discharged from the ventilation holes is caused to be returned to a side of the LEDs.

摘要: In an electric vehicle in which a high voltage battery supplying electric power to an electric motor generating power to drive a drive wheel and a low voltage battery supplying electric power to an accessory are mounted in a vehicle body, a breaker (62) is provided in a circuit (74) of a high power system linked to the high voltage battery (36); manual connection-disconnection means (71) for allowing switching between connection and disconnection of a circuit (75) of a low power system linked to the low voltage battery (40) to be performed by a manual operation is provided in the circuit (75) of the low power system; a relay switch (63, 64) which is capable of performing switching between connection and disconnection of the circuit (74) of the high power system by being supplied with electric power from the circuit (75) of the low power system, and which interrupts the circuit (74) of the high power system when the circuit (75) of the low power system is interrupted is provided on the circuit (74) of the high power system; and touch prevention means allows the breaker (62) to be touched only when the circuit (75) of the low power system is interrupted by using the manual connection-disconnection means (71). Accordingly, it is possible to make a work procedure in the maintenance of a breaker of a high power system easier to follow.

摘要: A display tube assembly is provided, in which plug pins are mounted on a printed circuit board, this printed circuit board having the plug pins soldered thereto is attached to a display tube and the display tube is accommodated in a case thereby being made watertight. According to this arrangement, the plug pins, the printed circuit board and the display tube are coupled together in the outside of the case so that a working property in the assembly process can be improved considerably. Further, since a window portion is not provided at the rear surface of the case, the reliability in the watertight process in the display tube can be improved considerably.

摘要: In a motorcar space heating system of the type having a heat pipe comprising a heat absorbing element for receiving heat from the exhaust gas of the motorcar engine and a heat discharging element for heating air flowing into a car interior space to be heated, the heat pipe is separated, at an intermediate heat exchanger installed in a working fluid passage connecting the heat absorbing and discharging elements, into a heat absorbing section and a heat discharging section. The working fluids within these two sections are therefore not intermingled with each other. A pipe extends from the intermediate heat exchanger so as to be communicative at one end thereof with the heat absorbing section. The other end of the pipe extends into a working fluid reservoir tank. When the pressure within the heat absorbing section rises as a result of increase of the quantity of heat absorbed at the heat absorbing element, the working fluid is allowed to flow through the pipe into the reservoir tank and is stored therein in liquid form. When the pressure within the heat absorbing section is reduced, the liquid working fluid in the reservoir tank flows back into the heat pipe.

摘要: A flat thermionic cathode is provided with a substrate having at least one main heating element thereon to produce at least one substantially localized area of heat and a sub-heating element to substantially define a heating area, the localized area being produced within the heating area. A cathode element including electron emissive material is disposed at the localized area. While the localized area tends to produce a temperature gradient directed from the localized area toward the perimeter of the substrate so as to create thermal stress in the substrate along the perimeter thereof, the sub-heating element reduces this temperature gradient and, consequently, the thermal stress.

摘要: Provided are a webbing-threading member and a seatbelt device that can prevent deviation of webbing (a so-called jamming phenomenon) by preventing rotation of the webbing-threading member. A webbing-threading member 1 of the present invention includes a body 2 rotatably mounted on the side of a vehicle, a threading hole 3 formed in the body 2 for guiding the webbing W, and a guide piece 4 placed on a surface of the threading hole 3 and forming a sliding surface 41 over which the webbing W slides. The guide piece 4 has, on the sliding surface 41, engaging grooves 42 that cause a pressing force to act in such a direction as to rotate the body 2 toward a vehicle front side at the time of withdrawing the webbing W, and that cause a pressing force to act in such a direction as to rotate the body 2 toward a vehicle rear side at the time of retracting the webbing W.
