    摘要: Epoxy resins which are obtainable by a process in which, first of all(a) by reacting(A1) at least one substance selected from the substances of the formula (I) and of the formula (II): ##STR1## in which Alc is the radical of a diol which has been freed fromI ts hydroxyl groups and comprises 2 to 20 carbon atoms,Ac is the radical of a dicarboxylic acid which has been freed from its carboxyl groups and comprises 2 to 20 carbon atoms,[Ph] is the radical of a difunctional phenolic compound which has been freed from its phenolic hydroxyl groups and has 6 to 20 carbon atoms, andc is a number greater than 1 but not more than 2, with(A2) at least one liquid diglycidyl ether based on a first bisphenol compound in an amount chosen so that there are more than two equivalents of glycidyl groups of component (A2) for a total of one equivalent of carboxyl and phenolic hydroxyl groups of component (A1),a pre-advanced diglycidyl ether resin is formed in dispersion in the liquid diglycidyl ether of which there is at least one, and subsequently(b) the resin dispersion obtained in accordance with (a) is reacted with a phenol component comprising at least one bisphenol compound which is identical to or different from the first bisphenol compound, the amount of the phenol component being chosen so that in the mixture of the resin dispersion and the phenol component the glycidyl groups prior to the reaction are in a stoichiometric excess over the phenolic hydroxyl groups.

    摘要: Curable compositions, which comprise the following components:(A) a polymer component consisting of one or more than one of the following components:polymers based on acrylate monomers and/or methacrylate monomers containing free carboxyl groups, and carboxyl-terminated polyesters;(B) a crosslinker for component (A) selected from the group consisting of:(B1) one or more than one compound having a molecular weight of less than 800 and containing at least two (2-oxo-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methyl groups per molecule, and(B2) a mixture consisting of one or more than one compound having a molecular weight of less than 800 and containing at least two (2-oxo-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methyl groups per molecule, and of one or more than one epoxy resin, at least 60 percent of the total number of (2-oxo-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methyl groups and epoxy groups of the mixture being (2-oxo-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methyl groups;(C) a catalyst for accelerating the crosslinking reaction between the components (A) and (B), and(D) a solvent for the components (A), (B) and (C);the molar ratio of free carboxyl groups to the total number of (2-oxo-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methyl groups and epoxy groups in the composition being from 0.3:1 to 3:1,have particularly good storage stability and are therefore suitable for use in one-component form, for example as coating agents.

    摘要: The present invention relates to epoxy group-terminated polymers of the formula (I). Said epoxy group-terminated polymers are suited extremely well as impact resistance modifiers, particularly in epoxy resin compostions. They are particularly suited for use in heat-curing epoxy resin adhesives. It has been found that such epoxy resin compostions not only have excellent mechanical properties and high glass transition temperatures, but also above all improved impact resistance properties, both at room temperature and at low temperatures.
