    摘要: The shaft and bush device includes a shaft, a bush having a slit in its axial direction and a pressing member which forces the bush inwardly to contact with the shaft so that the bush and shaft are pressed to each other without any clearance. The shaft and the bush may be a screw shaft and a nut engaging the screw shaft or a pin and a nut engaging the pin.A tilting steering apparatus has this shaft and bush device. Namely the device is used as a pivot pin connecting an upper bracket rotatably holding an upper steering shaft and main bracket fixed to a body of an automobile. The device is also used for an expansion-shrinking device which swings the upper bracket against the main bracket. The expansion-shrinking device has a screw shaft and nut which form the shaft and bush device.

    摘要: A fastening device for a tiltable steering shaft assembly of the type in which when shifted into a remote position upwardly from a pre-selected angular position, the steering wheel is automatically returned to the pre-selected angular position and locked at the same position only by depression of the steering wheel. The fastening device comprises a first manual lever arranged to release lock of the fastening device for permitting upward movement of the steering wheel to the remote position, and a second manual lever arranged to readjust the pre-selected angular position of the steering wheel in accordance with a user's physique, in which the first manual lever is cooperable with the second manual lever in operation of the latter to carry out readjustment of the pre-selected angular position of the steering wheel in a simple manner.

A single common connecting passage and branch connecting passages which are connected to the common connecting passage are provided. The common connecting passage is arranged adjacent to the exhaust port for heating the inner wall of the common connecting passage by the exhaust gas flowing in the exhaust port.

    摘要: An apparatus for displaying a three-dimensional image of a plurality of tomographic images by storing pictorial information of a tomographic image in an image convering element, forming interference fringes between a reading light beam which is transmitted through the image converting element and is modulated in accordance with the pictorial information stored therein and a reference light beam, and recording the interference fringes on a photographic plate. A three-dimensional image is reproduced by projecting the reference light beam onto the thus developed photographic plate. The image converting element is formed by a Pockels readout optical modulator. An intensity and position of a coherent light beam is modulated in accordance with the pictorial information of the tomographic image, and the thus modulated coherent reading light beam is made incident upon the Pockels readout optical modulator.
