    摘要: An output stage configured to control a driving voltage thereof is provided. The output stage includes: a first switching current module, coupled to a node for outputting a first current; a second switching current module, coupled to the node for outputting a second current; a switching capacitor module with a capacitance, coupled to the node; a calibrating control circuit, for calibrating the first current, the second current and the capacitance; a time constant calibrating circuit, for generating a reference slew rate, and controlling the calibrating control circuit to selectively calibrate the first current, the second current and the capacitance, such that a ratio of the first current and the capacitance and the ratio of the second current and the capacitance conform to the reference slew rate; and a voltage clamper for setting a high/low voltage range and limiting a amplitude of the driving voltage within the high/low voltage range.

    摘要: A circuit and a method for calibrating the direct-current offset in the signal output from a signal processing unit are disclosed. The calibration circuit includes a 1-bit quantizer, a control logic unit and a digital-to-analog converter. The 1-bit quantizer is coupled to the output end of the signal processing unit for receiving and detecting a direct-current offset component in the output signal so as to obtain quantization information. The control logic unit is coupled to the 1-bit quantizer for sequentially setting one of a plurality of bits of a compensation value and updating the set bit according to the quantization information. The digital-to-analog converter is coupled to the control logic unit for compensating the direct-current offset component in the signal output from the signal processing unit according to the compensation value.

    摘要: A voltage controlled oscillator with anti supply voltage variation and/or process variation includes an oscillation circuit for outputting an oscillatory signal; a current source coupled to the oscillation circuit for providing an input current to the oscillation circuit; and a variation compensation circuit for compensating the variations generated by the supply voltage and process. The variation compensation circuit includes a peak detector for generating a peak voltage proportional to the amplitude of the oscillatory signal; a compensating voltage generator for generating a reference voltage according to the process variation so that the oscillation circuit achieves the same working conditions under the process variation; and a comparator for comparing the peak voltage and the reference voltage to generate a control voltage. When the variation compensation circuit includes an amplifier, the supply voltage can be compensated.

    摘要: A programmable gain amplifier with a large extent for the variation of gains made by a manufacturing process of compensated metal oxide semiconductor or a bipolar junction transistor is disclosed. The structure of the programmable gain amplifier is divided into two stages, a first stage and a second stage. The first stage is formed by connecting a plurality of transistors in parallel, and the second stage is formed by a further plurality of transistors connected in parallel. The first stage and the second stage are connected in series. The current output end of transistors in the first stage each are connected to respective switches, respectively. Another, the current input end of transistors in the second stage each are connected to respective switches, respectively. Each of the switches is connected to a decoder. Therefore, through the control of the decoder, the on and off conditions of the switches can be determined so as to derive the required gain current.

    摘要: Disclosed is a calibration apparatus and method for programmable response frequency selecting elements. The calibration apparatus comprises a basic reference source, a programmable counter, a control logic unit, and a frequency to time constant converter. The programmable counter generates plural different frequency signals required by the frequency selecting elements with different frequency responses. The frequency to time constant converter determines a calibrated capacitance through the timing control signals generated by the control logic unit. This invention makes the process, temperature, and power supply variation for frequency selecting elements free. It allows the frequency selecting elements to have a high accurate, stable, and wide range programming of frequency responses. It is suitable for multi-standard applications. It greatly reduces the chip size, and significantly lowers down the cost for the applications.
