    摘要: An ECU of a fuel injection controller acquires information on a load of an internal combustion engine including a fuel injection valve. Based on the load information, a switch is made between low-load-condition control, in which a main injection is performed at a timing that avoids a spray injected by a pilot injection that drifts due to a swirl effect, and high-load condition control, in which the main injection is performed at a timing that interferes with (at least partially overlaps) a spray injected by the pilot injection that drifts due to a swirl effect. In the low-load-condition control, the spray injected by a pilot injection is diffused before the occurrence of ignition to reduce smoke. In the high-load condition control, the spray injected by the main injection is caused to interfere with the spray injected by the pilot injection that contains OH radicals, to reduce smoke.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to an exhaust gas purification system for an internal combustion engine that performs high pressure PM filter regeneration process by decreasing the degree of opening of an exhaust throttle valve in regenerating the particulate matter trapping capacity of a particulate filter and has as an object to provide a technology that enables to perform the high pressure PM filter regeneration process while suppressing excessive temperature rise of the particulate filter even while the vehicle is moving. According to the invention, a prediction is made, when the high pressure PM filter regeneration process is performed, as to whether there is a possibility that the temperature of the particulate filter will reach a predetermined upper limit temperature, and the pressure inside the particulate filter is controlled in accordance with the prediction.

    摘要: In an exhaust gas control apparatus for an internal combustion engine, in a case where an internal combustion engine is in a high load operating state while a PM trapping ability forcible recovery process for a particulate filter is being performed, EGR gas is caused to flow back from a portion downstream of the particulate filter in an exhaust passage to a portion upstream of a compressor housing in an intake passage, whereby the EGR gas is cooled by an intercooler. In a case where the internal combustion engine is in a low load operating state while the PM trapping ability forcible recovery process is being performed, the EGR gas is caused to flow back from the portion downstream of the particulate filter in the exhaust passage to a portion downstream of the intercooler in the intake passage, whereby the EGR gas is prevented from being unnecessarily cooled.
